My work schedule has been absolutely ridiculous lately... another 65 hour week has left me feeling burnt out, I have no time to exercise... and when I'm tired and have about 20 minutes to relax at the end of a day I invariably eat.
I weighed in at 102.1kgs yesterday morning, so haven't gained it back, but have stopped the weight loss.
I desperately need a god start to next week, starting tomorrow.

Day 73:
After a couple more days of horrendous eating, I got into the gym at 6am this morning. Fuck me dead was it ever crowded. Horrible. Did 10 mins of bike cardio followed by a leg routine consisting of elevated heel squats (5x10), leg presses (5x20), leg extensions (5x10) and smith squats (5x8).

Eating was fairly good, having three boiled eggs for breakfast, then some squid and jalapeno poppers for lunch... had two slices of vegetarian pizza at about 3pm, then for dinner ordered Indian takeaway (chicken tikka masala) without rice... only to find the staff threw a serve of rice in with it anyway. Had the equivalent of about two tablespoons. :rolleyes Threw the rest out.

Day 78:
Weighed in on Saturday morning at 104.1kgs.

Gained even more. My sole objective now is to make any improvement whatsoever on that by next Saturday morning.
Had two more nights of terrible eating and even a few pints on Sunday, but today improved a bit with effective carb depletion, but over-consumed on fat.

Did a solid leg routine at the gym with 5x10 elevated heel squats on the smith machine, 5x20 leg presses, 5x10 leg extensions, 5x20 calf raises and 5x8 regular smith machine squats with heavier weight. Finished it off with 10 mins on the incumbent bike.

Day 79:
Started out fairly well, with a 100g topside steak and two fried eggs, before it all went a bit askew. I'm still in the habit of treading water it seems. Had a small serve of squid at about midday followed by a breadless lamb burger without any fries... so far, so good.
Fell into my bad afternoon habit of eating bento boxes from the Japanese take away at the end of the day though... had a very small amount of rice with the two box meals, then had a chocolate bar on the way home... cooked up some sausages in the oven and had four of them, leaving two for breakfast tomorrow.

Did a solid 20 mins on incumbent bike before doing a new chest routine to break up the rhythm a bit... 3x10 heavy dumbbell bench presses, 3x6 smith bench, 3x10 cable flyes and 3x8 incline dumbbell presses. All exercises were performed with a heavier weight than usual.

Almost at the end of this 3 month burst and not giving up on the goal of an overall 10kg loss.

Well, couldn't post for a couple days there, but had another 4 point day on the 21st, and then had a planned boozy weekend where I ate and drank whatever I wanted.

So I'll bundle those 4 points in with the rest.

Had a big 6/6 day yesterday and a 3 today, for a grand total of 13 to add to the 145...

Total: 158 points

Massive day at work tomorrow, so hopefully I can post a more rounded post by the weekend, and am hoping to at least post a decent weigh in for the end of the month.

Good see you sticking with this and posting. I've had some shocking weeks over last couple months because of mammoth work hours.

Better at moment as making it gym weekends and trying get hold on what I'm eating.

All best and keep at it!

Mate, me too. Just been for surgery, minor work done but it's prevented me from exercising until it heals, also got a bum knee... and I've let these things let me become a total prick in terms of diet... the last couple of days have been good though!
Also had a full book in terms of work! That's right, surgery that prevents me from exercise, but still working a full, physical work roster, did another bloody 15 hour day on Friday!
About three months until I fly to Europe again for my festivals, so the priority is diet!

I do. I've just started a intermittent fasting this morning. Trying 12 til 8 food wise. I've been ticking over alright weight wise and fitness, but the last month or so I'm really feeling the negatives from not oushing myself to where I need to be.

Really up for this.
Mate, in between my hectic work schedule (actually cut it back now), recurring knee problems, an untimely gout attack and various other things, I have become woefully out of shape, a whole 30kgs heavier that I was about 15 months ago. To put it bluntly, I let the monster back in.
I'll weigh in tomorrow, and officially start it then! Just rounded out a few months of complete fuckery with a burger and fries and some ice cream. Last supper kinda thing.
I'll be doing an intermittent fasting plant too, with some serious carb-depletion...

Holy fucking smokes!
Well, if there’s any upside, it’s that he first 10kgs will melt away pretty quick, which will boost my motivation!
I did the important step last night of some general tidying up, and organised all my gym gear in the process. The main goal there will be showing up four times a week before I go thinking of any 3 point workouts.
Half an hour of cardio four times a week and a good diet. Giddy up!
I’ll enter a proper end-of-day entry later.

EDIT: So the eating was excellent, though I was propelled along by how heavily I ate last night. Still, chicken with guacamole and salad for lunch and a cup-a-soup at about 8pm.
Got into my gym at 10:30pm to do my half an hour cardio, strictly because it's quiet in the last half our before closing time, and to my dismay, found the place noisy and full. A group of dudes and a couple of girls, all chatting loudly and dropping weights really heavily. Only about three of them were actually using any equipment. I will eventually have to co-exist around this, but it is not day 1 shit. I grumbled and got the fuck out of there.
Determined to do something though, so I just chucked on my timer and did half an hour of light callisthenics and stretching at home, followed by a few sit ups. I am so fucking out of shape.
Not the half an hour of cardio I wanted, but half an hour of cardio/body resistance, albeit with no real structure.

Another good diet day. Four slices of low carb toast with cheese, an orange at about 10am and the last thing I ate was the same Cajun chicken with jalapenos and salad. Two cup-a-soups over the course of the night, but wussed out of the gym.

Started with four slices of low carb bread and cheese again, and at work I had the same Cajun chicken burger minus the bread and swapping the fries for salad.
Worked until 9pm and indulged in a few too many low carb beers and ciders after work, but still avoided any other food after 3pm. Very happy with this effort as Fridays are the toughest to stick to my diet, and it's an encouraging sign that I could do something relatively normal (after work drinks) without slipping up.

Four slices of low carb toast and cheese for breakfast, and grilled tandoori chicken with cucumber and minted yohurt for lunch. Got asked to stay back at work, and ended up finishing at 9pm, and once again indulged in after work drinks (low carb beer and ciders) as I watched the rugby league.
No food after 3pm.

Two more slices of low carb toast with cheese for breakfast before a 10am start at work. I had a little bit of a "silly Sunday", eating nachos for lunch. Still stuck to my no food after 3pm, although I drank way too many low carb drinks, so I'm subtracting an additional point.

I ate a sausage roll and a small donut for breakfast, as the place I was planning on visiting was closed on a Monday morning. I bought some lower fat beef sausages for lunch and 3pm dinner, and ate them with about five slices of low carb bread in total.

No morning weigh in.
Well, that's a week without a workout, despite pretty good eating the whole time. Today was no different, with two pieces of sushi for breakfast (purchased last night), followed by the same Cajun chicken with plenty of leafy greens yet again, and two cup-a-soups at dinner time.
Was really well-behaved with the low carb beer and cider too. Had two then left work!
Will weigh in tomorrow.

Bank holiday weekend and a Sat/Sun football tournament away including stopping over at an hotel meant I'm late to this and didn't even try to put effort into any of it. A mixed bag of weather including glorious sun and two extreme hailstorm showers had me going f it I'm off to the burger stalls.

So starting from yesterday.

No weigh in. I look shocking. Feel even worse. What more motivation do you need? I had very little in or ready to eat for the day so apart from snacking on fruit and nuts I had two tins of soup, the type with 1 of your 5 a day in. I did eat that with dipping bread, wholemeal seeded. After the day was done and I'd got back from football training, again nice weather and a bugger of a rain storm I cooked two chicken breasts for me with peppers, sweetcorn and a load of leafy greens. Exercise wise nothing to count.

Morning weigh in: 118kgs

Precisely the weigh in I deserved really, after such a shoddy weekend.
Back on course today and I started with more low carb bread and cheese for breakfast, changed it up a bit for lunch and had a vegetarian burger minus the bread and swapping the fries for salad. It was a pattie made from beans, kinda tasted like a felafel. So it had carbs, but packed with healthy things, so I'm not marking myself down for it.
No food after 3pm, but had two of my low carb pints of beer (2.7g per pint), then a cup-a-soup around dinner time.
No workout yet, but diet is going great. Might even leave it until next week as I have some busy days at work and a gig to attend on Sunday night!

Started with the same breakfast before also having the same lunch. These things alone would have been fine, but I unfortunately succumbed to some stupid snacking. Had four pieces of chocolate, and then after work, when I usually have one or two cup-a-soups, I had three. And I bought a pack of those ones that are loaded with noodles. Ended up nailing about 60g of carbs without even really enjoying it for fuck's sake.
Marking myself down to a 1 for late eating and dumb snacks.

Had a bit of a silly Sunday session in terms of eating. Had a concert that night so I ate a some bread, carbs and even some chocolate. Pretty bad choices overall. Got pretty sloshed as I enjoyed some live music, but stuck steadfastly to my no food after 3pm thing! Salvaged a point just for that!

Aaaaand finally I falter, after two very good weeks. Unfortunately, I seem to have greater fortitude when drunk then I do hungover. I watched game of thrones, had about four naps and ate a big, heavy dinner with a bag of lollies and full sugar cider.
It puts about a month between now and my next planned cheat, so not too much of a setback.
Double zeros are never good, but it's two weeks in. Time to push on!

I've an egg allergy. Ate two things with a touch of egg in them since my last post. One the day after, think someone had been cooking something with egg in a sandwich I ate so felt ill as fuck. Recovered from that and had a bite of a flapjack on my way to football. Thought that doesn't taste rigjt, checked the ingredients and they'd somehow manged to use egg white. Vomited the fck out of that and had a couple of days not too well. Back on guard for that type of thing now though.

12/5/19

Good cardio to start the day, skipped breakfast and lunch. After my bout of stupidity and feeling unwell I'd missed a few meas, but loaded up when I felt hungry so missing meas didn't bother me at all. In the afternoon I ate mainly fruit and nuts, two large chicken breast with a light spicy coating, mixed peppers, tomato and salad on the side. In the evening I had a stunning roast beef sandwich, I should probably cut out the bread, but it was brown freshly made and all hot so the olive bread melted into the beef. Light cardio in the afternoon while at the football, just warm up stuff, but it counts or at least I'm counting it.

Slow day. Usually Monday's are a wash out. My kid has training a hours drive away for two hours so we don't get in til after 9 and before we go I'm doing the dads taxi routine. Turned out he wasn't going due his mum putting her foot down because of his exams starting. I didn't put two and two together and quickly put my gym bag together and instead sat down for the evening. Big cock up fitness wise. On the diet front I had a great day til it came to the evening meal, expecting to be out I'd not got anything in to cook so the usual thin pizzas for that night were out.
