Well 2016 did its best to make this game defunct this year but theres enough left to get it going.

Simply put, pick ten celebrities with one as your golden pick, points will be scored by deducting the age of the person from 100 (e.g if said celeb is 80 then you score 20 points).

For bonus points you get a point for each month away it is e.g January scores an extra point for each deceased, December scores an extra 12 for each deceased.

Also 5 points will be deducted for each survivor you have on Jan 1st 2018.

Pick away.

Here's mine:

1) Val Kilmer
2) Michael Schumacher
3) Courtney Love
4) Charles Manson
5) Ricky Hatton
6) Scott Hall
7) Lewis Hamilton
8) Magomed Adbulsalamov
9) Gerald Mclellan
10) Adam Ant

Yep I'm predicting it to be as or more brutal than 2016.

Yeah, surely this would be more fun if there was a maximum age, like 69 and under. Once anyone hits 70, it's not really news worthy, unless it's a huge world leader or the queen or summit.

I guess the whole 60's generation are strong contenders, but if I'm going to go out on a limb, Usain Bolt, heart problems.

I feel like a right cunt writing that. Still, I wonder if Ladbrokes will give me odds?

For a scoring system maybe subtract dead celebs age from 100; for example Zsa Zsa Gabor was 99 so only scores 1 point, Bowie was 69 & scores 31 points etc.
That's exactly how it's done. Pregnant dead celebs +100pts. Over 100 years old you lose the extra (105 = score -5pts) but you gain the name in the overall names total.

There should also be something like a minus 20 for long standing substance abuse (George Michael, Gazza) and a minus 30 for terminal/degenerative illness (Clive James, Steven Hawkins).
