Who’s done any of them?
I have done the 3 peaks twice but not the other two. I might have a crack at the Yorkshire next month but the Welsh 3000 appeals.

Yeah I’ve done the Yorkshire 3 peaks.

Prepare to get caught in queues unless you walk in the off season or start at first light.

Is the Yorkshire 3 peaks hard? A lad I know proper blows his own trumpet about doing it, you'd think he'd climbed everest

Obviously depends on fitness/condition but no, not really.

It's a decent effort and a long days walking but that climbs aren't too long and are never too steep or technical.

The long drags in between are the bits the wear you down.

Googled it. Interesting.
Living on the West Coast of Canada, we see some different terrain.....you actually have to line up?

You got any cool hikes, obviously you have, but I mean anything what compares with the Appalachian Trail?

A multitude. Perhaps not as long, but if you group them together then perhaps the same length, although the Great Canadian Trail is actually longer.
I would say the Appalachian trail is more settled in a sense as well, while alot of the trails out here dont have the infrastructure it does, but people like that.
Tons of hikes on my little island that are 2 days or more.

I think anyone who's in half decent shape can do it fine. It's more a test of mental fortitude than physical fitness. Unless of course you decide to run the 3 peaks which some mad people do.

Ben Nevis is a bit dangerous if the weather turns bad, people die on that every year. It's about 10 miles in total, going up and back down.

Snowden is a walk in the park, children climb it.

Scafell pike is tough because it unrelenting. While with the others there are flatter parts where you can get a big of a rest, Scafell is uphill all the way, no flatter parts where you can have a breather. Plus there's a much tougher route to get to the top which looks from a distance like an almost sheer vertical climb and then a scary route on a ridge to the summit.

I've done snowdon, seemed really easy but wasn't sure on the others. I have a mate who ran two laps of the Yorkshire 3 peeks so I found I mad how much my other mate bangs on about walking it

I completed Tryfan today and Bristly ridge which is a full on scramble. Massively recommend. Tryfan shits al over Snowden.
Having said that going to try Snowden via the legendary Crib Groch route next.
