See? Now how come this case has so much political focus that MPs debate it but not these cases you highlight?
Because the VAST majority of those came over as adults under freedom of movement and then committed a crime. It's a completely separate issue to people who came here as kids, committed a crime, served their time and are now facing deportation.

Windrush has exacerbated this issue.

Now, some of the guys being deported to Jamaica deserve to be, but some don't, and the issue is mutually exclusive from adults from the EU coming over, committing a crime and being sent back home.

Albania and Brazil are not in the EU and they sum near enough to the other three. Hardly a vast majority.

Almost all Albanians come in via freedom of movement being exploited, it's actually one of the solid arguments you could use for stopping freedom of movement. Many pretended to be Kosovan after the war, and a large number of others are trafficked into the country. So it's completely separate to people coming over as kids. Albanians began coming in large numbers with UK residence offered as if they were in the EU due to the war. So it is directly comparable.

Likewise, while Brazil is not EU, the vast majority of migrants are adults arriving recently.

I know and I'd preface my original post with the same thoughts regarding being kids when immigrating. If they grow up here they are British.

I am not sure why people are squeamish at all about deporting criminals. I wish we could depart all American born criminals also.
