Acceptable undercard for Haye v Fury

Allot of people including myself were paticuarly unhappy about the undercard for Froch v Kessler. Quite frankly it was piss poor. What would you guys deem as an acceptable PPV card for the fight.

I think this would be a good card.

David Haye v Tyson Fury (WBC Heavyweight Final Eliminator)
Scott Quigg v Yoandris Salinas (WBA Regular Super Bantamweight)
Frankie Gavin v Matthew Hatton (British Welterweight)
Martin Gethin v Anthony Crolla (British Lightweight)
Brian Rose v Lee Purdy (WBO Inter-Continental Light Middleweight)
Anthony Joshua Pro Debut

That would be a good card yeah but it would never happen. We'd probably get Quigg vs Salinas and maybe Joshua debut but everything else is unrealistic.

The other fights would likely be Groves vs another no mark with a paper ranking
Brian Rose vs some euro bum
Lee Selby vs some euro bum
Chris Eubank Jr vs some euro bum

Being as there is no world title on the line between Fury and Haye. I'd like the under card to have one. I think Eddie should go out of his way to deliver and get Alexander over here. Offer him big money because of the PPV, and get the Brook fight on.

Brook will have more of a chance winning on home soil than over in the US. It would be extremely wise and smart for Eddie to at least try and make that fight ASAP on that Fury-Haye card.

IMHO.

....and I also think Groves vs. DeGale is a fight that could be made. 2 fights on the card that are - Hennessey vs. Hearn. :happy

Scott Quigg v Yoandris Salinas (WBA Regular Super Bantamweight) Highly likely
Frankie Gavin v Matthew Hatton (British Welterweight) Gavin still an FW fighter
Martin Gethin v Anthony Crolla (British Lightweight) No chance of that.
Brian Rose v Lee Purdy (WBO Inter-Continental Light Middleweight) Brian Rose will be on it but not sure if Purdy
Anthony Joshua Pro Debut

If Alexander won't go out to fight in Dubai were there's rich Arabs willing to pay HUGE money then I very much doubt Hearn could get him over here, even with PPV money. People need to face it, Alexander just won't leave the US.

I like the idea of a DeGale vs Groves II with the winner getting Froch but that won't happen either. Groves can get a fight with Froch anyway and I think is ranked above James in all the governing bodies (God knows why, his last few fights have been proper crap) so a rematch from his point of view wouldn't make any sense so he wouldn't accept it.

Why have you stacked it with Hearn fighters?

The undercard would be utter wank like always but Fat Mick would have a few of his boys on there against nobodies.

Quigg vs Salinas I'd say is close to certain for chief support, other fights I'd like to see but some are probably unlikely

Rose vs Rabchenko
Crolla vs Mitchell
Hughie Fury in a step up level fight
Few of matchroom prospects in step up fights

Kid Galhad v Jazza Dickens I would think be on this. John O Donnell is fighting on Saturday think him v Rose could be made.

Crolla-gethin and gavin-hatton have no promotional interest in the bill so wouldnt happen. I'd have Galahad-Dickens for the lonsdale and degale-bika as chief support

I will save Bill some time and write his post for him:

Cleverly v BHop
Heavyweight Prizefighter ft. Audley's Return

Basshunter for between fight entertainment and he would also like the PPV price increased to £25 because he feels that he should be paying more for top fights.

That would be a decent undercard without a doubt....In the unlikely event that it does come about it would be good if Brian Rose fights around 9pm giving me the perfect chance to nip out for a pint and pick the curry up.

It will be shit. It'll probably be

Eubank Jnr v Journeyman A
Kid Galahad v Journeyman B

if were lucky we'll get a Degale fight and maybes the likes of Eric Ochieng and a couple of other no-names.

Honestly, the only fight they need to make is the top of the card and thats all they will be focused on. If its near the quality of Froch-Kessler undercard I would say that is a success.
