Go to Liveleak, Crazyshit, Bestgore, Ogrish and check out all of the unbelievably extreme gun violence videos there that are 95%+ non-Americans, then get back to us about what you think of the world in general. Especially that shit from South America and Africa. Most of it's not even cartels or gangs for christs sake.

The media you follow is really doing a number on you junior ole pal.

Is there any justification for this story having a racist angle to it? The first time I heard of it, it was "black man shot by white men" and then I read something from Biden which said this murder 'reminds us of a dark past' or something, insinuating racism, and other terms have been used which imply there was a racist motive behind the attack, that hatred was a factor etc.. However, I haven't read anything which says that the perpetrators were racist. They likely stereotyped, if the argument is true that they were out looking for a black man who'd been robbing houses, but that doesn't make them racist or make this a racist murder.

Either way, it's a tragic and brutal loss of life. I think this sort of death just highlights why guns are so problematic, because it takes violence to such a severe point that there's often no coming back from. Even if the victim had been robbing houses, which doesn't seem to be the case, does he deserve to die for it? I don't think so, not at all, he might have deserved a prison sentence but to go looking for someone with guns and then shoot a man during a fight? It's all so severe. Humans are not generally capable of handling weapons, we're too emotional and driven by anger, and only a very select few are capable of keeping a cool head in the worst scenarios. Only a tiny percentage of people who own guns are capable of using them properly, and the fact that many people shoot instantly highlights that.

Oddly enough, I saw a video recommended to me on YouTube about a former British hooligan and his name rang a bell. I looked him up and there's a video on YouTube of some idiot calling him a n*gger, and the black guy beats him up for it. You just wonder how many of those cases in the UK would have ended with death had one of the people been carrying a lethal weapon.

Its America. Anytime any black person is perceived wronged in any way by any white person it is deemed racist. The only one's who actually know if these guys are racists these guys themselves or people who know they personally. Many blacks and SJW claim to have special spidey senses that allows them to know what is racism and what is not in every situation. Anyone who denies that they have these special senses are also deemed racists.

Since this incident many white people have been murdered by black people but not mentioned by almost any blacks or liberals. They couldn't give you the name of a white person that was murdered by a black person in the last 10 years. This despite the fact that many more whites are murdered by blacks than the other way around.

I don't think the hillbillies thought he deserved to die for breaking into a house either if he did which is unsure. If this was the case they would have shot him earlier. He got shot because he grabbed and wrestled for the rifle. Now a trial will sort that out. Whoever's decision it was not not charge and arrest them earlier needs to be fired.

The automatic assumption that every incident has racial motive is not helpful at all.

That said, America really needs to sort out it’s gun controls. I said controls, not relinquishment of all weapons.

Oh so the fact that some other third world countries have gun violence is somehow a refutation?
Are you legit fucking stupid?

The only argument that makes is that USA is a bit of a third world country itself.

This is a horrible story to read. Was it racism, wasn't it , I don't know. All I know is a guy died and he didn't deserve it.

None of us would allow a guy with a rifle to walk up to us if we were out minding our own business and could wrestle it from him. Being a rifle the victim probably thought he could disarm him but didn't realise the father had a gun too.

The father then did what any father would do next, protect his son.

Are they guilty of racism? Who knows. Are they guilty of going looking for trouble armed with intention and then ultimately committed a crime? Yes. So by that logic they will go to jail now.

What they did was above citizens rights to do.

But then I'm thinking what would I do? I know that it's America. I know robbers carry guns. I know I wouldn't feel safe in my home and would rather go out and get the jump on the robber before he enters my house at 3:00am when I'm asleep and might hurt my family after he's robbed other houses down my street.

I just feel sorry for the victim here. He's caught in the middle of a bad situation.

I said this before but I really mean it..

if I was dying from cancer or whatever and I could somehow contribute in hurting the USA or kill Republicans, gunlovers, Christians or hillbilly’s I certainly would do it..

The trial will determine if what they did was above a citizens right to do. To me it looks crazy what they did and it’s not something I think should be done but That is irrelevant . The issue now is what is Georgia law on this. There is a chance we are going to repeat what has happened in so many cases. People reacting with emotion instead of understanding the law.

I did read something new last night but who knows what is true. I read that the father knew the victim from investigating the victim for earlier crimes. Years ago the victim got arrested for bringing a loaded gun into a school and faced legal problems. The father was involved in the investigation. Also according to the article the father has video of the victim robbing a house recently which is why they were trying to arrest him. I am interested in seeing if this is true and what else is out there.

Yeah, that's definitely been the case in previous examples. There's not necessarily any racist motive and yet the instant angle is "black victim, white perpetrator" like it's some continuation of a bigger problem within society, even though there is no reason to suggest that hatred or bigotry was part of the motive.

It's just such a divisive argument to make. Even if you ignore the facts of the situation, that white people are far more likely to be killed by black people than vice versa or that black people are far more likely to shoot police officers than the other way around, the jump to this assumption that race is always a motive is so divisive. Many of these cases are nothing to do with race so what good does it do to frame it in such a way? None. Not only is it factually inaccurate but it wil only ever lead to further disharmony and get us further away from the ideal society, where skin colour doesn't matter and we see each other as equal regardless of background. Blaming racism for murders without a racist motive is only ever going to result in animosity.

The media really do have a lot to answer for but it won't happen, nor will it be the case that the people accused of these crimes will get a fair trial because they're assumed to be driven by racism. In most cases, race is not a contributing factor - certainly not one that can be proven anyway - yet the media just don't care about that.
