Oh dude, I'm tracking on your last part. Where I grew up, my high school was about 51% black, 49% Hispanic, and then some token white and Asian kids. The racial animosity was never between white/ black or white/ Hispanic. It was between Hispanics and blacks, and exacerbated by gang affiliation. I've tried telling white people in other parts of the country that "people of color" aren't a monolithic identity.
I lived in a neighborhood where a war between Surenos and Crips left 50-60 dead in a matter of weeks.

I know, it's going to be hilarious the first time Texas votes Democrat because of it.
Not gonna happen any time soon, IMO. I know a few Mexicans from there and they’re pissed that Californians are moving to their state.

Oh I agree, the long hoped for "Texas turning blue" is still a ways off. I do, however, think that the 2018 midterm showed that if the variables are correct, a good candidate could build a coalition that overcomes the hick population.

Again you are ignoring that many more whites are killed by cops.
This is a ridiculous argument. White people make up 73% of the population and black people make up 13%. You have to do these things on a per capita basis, and on that basis black men are about 3.5 times more likely to be unarmed and shot dead than white men. However, and it is a BIG "however", race is not the biggest predictor of being killed by police, gender is. White men are about 8 times as likely to be unarmed and shot dead by police as black women, so clearly it is not simply a war on blackness, it is an issue with police for sure, but not generally because there's a ton of racist police looking to shoot a black person.

Your per capita argument is not a good one. Blacks have a much higher crime rate ( more contact with cops ) and some studies have shown that they resist arrest 10 times more than whites. Just saying someone is unarmed doesn't cut it. Whites are not 73% of the population by the way. Obviously i think there have been cases of black people killed by cops where a white man would not have been but it is not this huge issue people make it out to be. If someone resist police instructions they might get shot and it doesn't not matter what race they are.

Some people just claim racism every single time a black person is killed by a cop no matter what, even if you can find a video of the same thing happening to a white guy. Your point about white men and black women is also not a good point because it does not take into account how much contact each category has with cops.

This is true and it’s fucking ridiculous. Case in point that shitbag in Milwaukee who jumped out of a stolen car, pointed a stolen gun at a black officer and 100% justifiably got his ass lit up for it. God damn retards were rioting in the streets over it and calling it “systemic racism”, ffs.
