Joshua is done. I'm calling it. At least we all know what would've happened against Wilder now.
I thought he looked disinterested and boring in the Parker fight but it seems to be getting worse with every fight. He looked so insecure that it seems he set himself up for a self fulfilling prophecy. From the onset the way he was looking at Ruiz like he was trying to solve a complicated mathematical equation or something. And then those lazy jabs to Ruiz's body instead of just popping fast and snappy straight punches down the pipe. Like someone else here said, he seemed to be overthinking things.
Hard to believe this man went to war with Wlad.
I wonder to what extent the hot humid FL weather bothered him.

Boxing fans have such a short memory, after JMM slept Pac literally EVERYBODY was saying how the Mayweather fight is gone forever and absolutely pointless, Pac is finished, blah blah blah, then what? Two fights later against Algieri and that Mexican plodder and they go on to fight in the biggest fight in boxing history and everyone watches.

This is a speed bump, if (it’s a big it though) Joshua beats Ruiz in the rematch then he regains his #1 spot and can fight Wilder or Fury for the biggest fight in the sport, if he wins it probably doesn’t even delay the fights as Fury and Wilder are tied up until next summer anyway.

I need to watch this fight, it doesn’t seem like an off night, Ruiz might just have the right style to beat Joshua, he just seemed to open up and throw short hooks every time Joshua started throwing, maybe it’s a Tyson vs Holyfield scenario (which is another example of the man dethroned and still going on to have the mega fight with Lewis).
Pacquiao was winning and hurt Marquez badly yeah he got knocked down earlier by a 1 punch but he looked like he was about to stop Marquez and got stupid

Joshua just got David Price'd, when Joshua gets hurt he gasses so unless he can take you out without getting caught hes fucked, how does he ever beat Ruiz when Ruiz is ready to trade at any point in the fight, Joshua is done imo unless he fights someone else

Fat feminists hate people with muscles

no most fat people would like to have muscles but they don't hate people that do, feminism has nothing to do with it but people seem to manage to bring it into every converssation

Andy Ruiz showed what boxing is about: skills, heart and fire over athleticism and size. I picked him to lose by decision per the Parker fight but I knew he would give Joshua trouble in spots.

On that token how did he beat Wlad then after getting put down hard and hurt badly in the 6th also? And Tyson got beaten soundly by Holyfield in their first fight, it didn’t make the Lewis fight any less of an event. Even if Ruiz beat him in the rematch, Joshua is still a huge draw and can make tens of millions against Wilder and Fury, he’s too big of a star not to and boxing history has proven this time and time again.

Because Wlad is too patient and didnt know how to finish AJ then AJ took like 5 rounds off and got his energy back, he was starting to recover against Ruiz but then he took some bodyshots and gassed again, he gassed against Whyte aswell but Whyte' spunch technique was shocking in that fight

I remember how Lennox was morbidly obese when he KO'd Vitali. This is almost exactly like that. Every night-...each and every night, I pray. I pray for an end to world non-hunger. But every night my prayers are unanswered. God bless us, everyone.

So Joshua should have taken his big money to get his Ass-whooped by Wilder instead of milking his title. Wilder is the man, Tyson is in there too. Ruiz is Third and now...lol.... AJ is but a mere contender.

The funny thing is, AJ will probably get paid the same amount for his next fight as he would have, had he beaten Ruiz.
His career is very, very strange.

Also, it's not all that likely that Ruiz can pull it off in the rematch. AJ fought the exact dumbest fight he possibly could have. All he has to do is stay outside, jab, and throw an occasional OH right. So, AJ - Wilder is still a near-certainty. If Anything, this loss may make AJ that much better when the super-fight finally happens, and it may excite a certain section of the casuals even more, now that AJ appears to be mortal, thus even more revenue.
