Ruiz has shown he has a chin and a good bit of pop in his punches, but he also showed he can be lazy in the ring by his showing in the second Joshua fight by coming in even heavier than he did in the first fight.

I'm not really impressed with Ortiz. His 2 fights with Wilder saw him getting KO'd and add to that he's 41 and 11 years older than Ruiz and Ruiz has never been stopped as a pro.

I'd give Ruiz the nod in this one----------------IF he comes into the ring in good shape.

I honestly have huge doubts Ortiz can stop him, if anyone. Ruiz Jr. took some fucking bombs from Joshua and still came back even stronger. Doesn't look like the kind of guy you'd want to trade with.

Both of these guys can withstand huge punches. Plus, Ortiz is not a come-forward pressure fighter and Ruiz has very short arms, so there won't likely be a lot of significant punches landed. I think this one goes to the cards, and I have to assume the younger man will take it, unless he enters the ring at one of his higher weights.

I guess the other way to see it is, Ruiz will have no choice but to go inside, where even an aging Ortiz can probably do his lovely counterpunching thing. And if Ruiz is overweight, he'll gas in the second half, make some mistakes, and Ortiz will close the show. But are Ortiz' reflexes still there?

But if I were betting actual money, it would be on a decision win for Ruiz.
