"Did you know that 70% of the population of Saudi Arabia are under 24 years old and we want to provide them a better quality of life and overall wellbeing"

Translated what that means is matchroom promotions will make huge money by showcasing cards in Saudi Arabia....British fans can bugger off now.

EDDIE "its not about the money, its about the best shows for the fans" HEARN.
Strikes again mind you his cult of fans will still carry on parroting him...Hearn has the most loyal fan base in boxing.

I am one of those fans...I find it alot cheaper and more comfortable to watch at home and order a takeaway. ...90% of AJ fans are these exubarant Carolina singing casuals.

Anyways watching the latest IFL video.. Eddie Hearns bullshits so much its hard to tell whether Andy Ruiz has actually signed for the fight. Or if he is referring to the rematch clause that Ruiz signed.

Besides the 12 000 seat arena for this event has not even been built yet.

So plenty more drama before this fight takes place.... On the orders of Al Haymon..Ruiz could simply get "injured" take a year out and fight Wilder for double the money.

Whatever the case I very much doubt Andy Ruiz will take this fight for $9 million...Either Hearn has already upped the offer or he is bluffing.

What a patronising CUNT. "There is a world outside Cardiff". These are the same people who have lined his fucking pocket for YEARS - he literally has no respect for the fans. He truly doesnt. I don't care where it is frankly but he should show some god damn humility, say sorry to the fans but it's the best option for his client blah blah. Not shit on everyone and look down on them.

Absolute scum bag of a man.

Round and about
I'm cancelling my two weeks holiday in Cardiff now I know Saudi Arabia exists and is in fact the best place in the world.

I shall be investigating package deals to this first class country with great hotels asap. Thanks Eddie. :good

It's not an unfair contract when you have nothing. EH/AJ could have picked 50 other guys? He got handed a golden ticket. He should complain about the small print.

Without AJ/EH he would still be an unheard of Fat little guy fighting on undercards in California. They made him a star and he can't even be gracious enough to show some fucking gratitude.
You need medical assistance.

Come on @Ar558a you’re slacking mate! Why haven’t you jumped to Hearn’s defence yet?!
Lol.

I am still against the fight not being in Cardiff, EH has tried to sell the Saudi thing pretty hard but eventually he basically admits they were giving Ruiz wanted he wanted (20:55 in the video). To me that is pretty bad promotion for AJ but clearly he has decided that it's better for him to keep Ruiz sweet even if he costs AJ the venue and some ££. I have however been coming round to the idea that maybe a neutral venue isn't the worst thing if AJ needs to fight boring to win as without 80k roaring him on he might find it easier to stay cool and not go in for the kill rashly.

Once again you have to remember being a Boxing promoter is like a second hand car salesman, it's all patter. I happen to enjoy EH's patter but doesn't mean I would trust him with anything serious unless our interests were aligned. In this case, he has lowered AJ's chances but at least it's UK friendly fight time so I'm not going to go ballistic.

@ORG83 Surely there's enough there for you to rant at me irrationally for a while?

Hearn claiming Ruiz is scared of Joshua might just be the most absurd thing Hearn has ever said.
