Thoughts on Whyte saying it's easier to get TUE exemptions in England? I think he knows more about EPO and PED usage than we do. For the first time AJ gassed. He said that's why AJ was asking "Why do I feel like this?:wah"

True, but what about what Whyte said? Is he spilling the beans or just hating?

I don't really want to see the rematch in England after this revelation. It be a huge crowd, but would it be right? First title defense in AJ's backyard doesn't sound like the best move for Ruiz. I hope he he has a say in this. The Staples Center holds 21,000, but Cali has a three knockdown rule.

What I want to know is has anyone actually seen ANY evidence that AJ has ever taken any PED's? I haven't! It appears to be another clear AJ - Hater tactic to discredit any of his achievements.

Again AJ deserves the fight on home soil as he went away last time. The US is not all is all it's cracked up to be and it's only because the US fan gets absolutely screwed with those ridiculous PPV prices that they reap more money. 80,000 at Cardiff is where this fight should go but that is down to if Hearn was sensible enough to stipulate that in the contract.

I would be surprised if Hearn didn't specify the rematch venue in the contract. Even though Ruiz was a late replacement they had plenty of time to prepare the contract for Miller and would hardly have loosened things up in the revised contract for Ruiz.

My worry is if was in the contract wouldn't they have announced the venue at the same time as the rematch was announced......

We are only the fans and on a need to know basis.

Pretty sure Hearn would have specified the $ split in the rematch clause too - Whyte was complaining the contract Hearn tried to get him to sign for Joshua-Whyte 2 stipulated that even if Whyte won Joshua would get a bigger split in the rematch.

Interesting to see 65% of people who voted think AJ's career is over....

By voting they think Ruiz would stop Joshua in the rematch, do you mean?
Yup no way AJ continues if he loses again. He has pride, he was Unified champ, he has £100m. He's not spending the next 5 years fighting David Price et al.

Boxers are unpredictable beasts.
Maybe. Maybe it's me, I really want him to retire if he loses rather than humiliate himself. If I were him I would retire and do nothing for 2 years, stay off social media and live a quiet life. He will take such a shellacking in the press it will be hard but he then can move on. If he tries to continue, a significant proportion of boxing fans (seems like about 80% based on comments here) will never let him forget it plus if Fury or Whyte win a title they will rub it in as well. Plus he can never really rebuild properly, he would probably need to win 4 or 5 fights over 3 years to get another title shot ( every opponent will think AJ is an easy touch at that point) and that's assuming he doesn't get frozen out and even if he managed all that he still would be seen as inferior to Ruiz for ever. Just not worth it.

All logic. But as we know most boxers don't follow logic. They have always got just one more big fight left in them.

I know some people don't believe the story of the panic attack in the changing room.. But one of the side effects of steroid withdrawal is panic attacks and Anxiety..
well then don't use steroids.

if you have to cheat to win a belt and then the side effects make you lose it, well you weren't ever really champ to begin with.

" should i take centre of the ring? "
"whats he going to do next?"
"why am i feeling like this?"

I dont think he has the smarts to adapt and win the rematch, he will unravel again when ruiz lands the counters again . His best chance is the straights and tie ruiz up ,break and push him back again . I cant see him being able to keep this up his feet are terrible .

Yeah a big problem for Josh is his build, he is too top heavy. His legs are built for explosive movements, not long distance stamina. He fights in explosive spurts, kind of like George groves, so if you can back him up and make him burn a lot of energy moving on the back foot, he will always be fucked and run out of gas, and be there for the taking later on. His best shot may be to go for the kill and take it to Ruiz again
