I don’t have Twitter, but it’s getting an absolute slating on Instagram on matchroom and eddies accounts. I’m just interested to see what ticket sales are like after Eddie slated furys

The DAZN/Matchroom/Hearn machine will sell this out.
20k tickets for what Hearn describes as the biggest star in world boxing, I would certainly hope its a sell-out.
Hearn says he wants to stack the card with Brits and Irish fighters and take a big British fan base over there, probably to hide the fact AJ couldn't take that many British fans over there alone...

Agree. Joshua won't take the numbers over there that Fury did and will be nowhere near what Hatton used to take with him.

Undercard will have Katie Taylor for certain. Perhaps Usyk?

can't see Uysk on this card. Think they'll save him for another card vs. Povetkin, maybe April 20th on PPV.
I see AJs card having the usual suspects. Katie Taylor, Kal Yafai, Okolie, Buatsi, Campbell etc...

Will need a few homegrown too I think, perhaps Jessie Vargas and Daniel Roman.

Who else should he fight?

In my opinion it's a good introductory fight into the US market.
Since Fury and Wilder were always going to be unavailable I think it should have been Whyte, and it should have been sorted immediately after Whyte vs Chisora II imo. Still I hope it turns out to be a good fight and card.

My understanding is that Whyte bottled it citing money issues. He side stepped Pulev and Ortiz too, strange for the man who will fight anybody...

If they make it a UK vs USA show from top to bottom, it should do well.
That is exactly what they have in mind :

“We’ve got a great stable of fighters and, like I said, an entire side of the card will be Brits."

“.....a stacked card of Brits in big opportunities against Americans in crunch fights.”
