I was also satisfied with the Fury performance especially how he responded to being cut and having had the doc look at it twice, he's a good fighting man like his cousins and his corner did a wonderful job on the eye too
You might be right, he's had 2 fights since the defeat, the first he did what he had to do but last night he still hadn't returned to the pre-loss AJ, it's not a criticism though as it shows that he's learnt and made changes for instance after his big 3rd round where he dropped the challenger twice, I was keeping a keen eye on how he would respond at the start of the 4th looking to see if he was going to put his foot on the gas and close the show but he seemed very conscious of the fact that he was a bit tired after his effort in the last round and didn't want to risk getting caught with something when he was on that kind of energy level so he started boxing again, I gave Pulev the round after that, he landed some decent shots and AJ seemed to be questioning if he could get the job done having watched Pulev get up twice and was still coming to fight him rather than be in survival mode, just like Andy last June, up off the canvas and looking to engage not run.
Ultimately I thought AJ did well and I love his attitude and his effort in the ring but I just can't see him beating Fury or Wilder but at least he would give it his best shot, that I know.

Joshua won pretty much every round and stopped Pulev, who is still a good fighter.
Good points:
I thought his jabs to the body were good when he used them.
He was throwing hooks to get Pulev to close in his guard and leave him open for the uppercut.
Still a great finisher
Still has speed and power late in fights
Moves OK for his size and lack of amateur experience
He didn't gas as badly as he usually does.
Bad points :
Still seemed to gas at points despite not throwing much
Still looks scared about getting hit and flapped under pressure a couple of times
Went a bit reckless when Pulev was hurt
Commits a lot of fouls. Rabbit punches, hitting on the break, hitting after the bell
Seemed as if Pulev wound him up. Lot of chat, gloating, posturing, and fouls. Did the same with Whyte. This lack of composure doesn't bode well if he fights Fury who is the master at winding up opponents

It was quite a dirty fight from both guys.
Joshua does seem to hit after the bell a lot. Used to hit people when they were down as well.
It probably won't ever cost him, but it could.

If either fury or wilder fought Joshua's opposition they both would have multiple defeats, If Joshua fought wilder or furys resume he would stand undefeated. He's the better fighter all round.
wilder got counted out by Harold Sconiers the fight got removed and no one can find the footage. Wilder is the most overrated heavyweight in the past 10 years, and you guys laugh when I say guys like David price, Joyce, Chisora, etc beat him. wilder who litrally fot schooled for 7 rounds by an old arse Ortiz lol most of you dont know shit about boxing.

if Fury went through joshua resume and had to consistently fight the type of fights joshua had he wouldnt be undefeated.
Whyte, povertkin, Ruiz jr, are all tough fights for him. an unfocussed Fury looked bad against wallin the 3 aforementioned fighters are more capable them him.

Just been catching up on interviews the general opinion fight should have been stopped round 3 with Pulev turning his back. I said at the time not heard of the referee. Pulev refused any English ref.

He gave a standing count without Pulev going down or being held up by the ropes.
For me he could stop it and probably should have. Pulev turned his back and ran after getting hurt. Looked like he didn't want any more, or didn't know what was going on.
If he didn't stop it then he shouldn't have given the count and should just have let Joshua continue to work.
Unless I'm missing something, (which is possible).

I thought the ref was poor. I didn't know him either. South African I think.
Thought he made the wrong call in the 3rd, and should have stopped it in the 9th before the last knockdown.
Both fighters fouled a lot too and he did nothing about it, (other than stopping them for a chat at the start of the 4 th, giving Pulev more time to recover).
I dont get it either u turn you back you are in no position box protect yourself at all times. Think it was giving a 8 count that was the issue or do u mean punches behind the head. LOL the bigger man always gets blamed in that case.
