A bit uninspiring as a fight but a chance for joshua to look explosive and devastating after the negative performance against Ruiz. AJ needs a showcase win here to convince people that he can beat Wilder or Fury
last time AJ was set up with an opponent to make him look great he got brutally exposed.

I don’t think all the talk of Fury will help AJ..... During the first Ruiz fight the entire build up was based around Wilder & making a bigger “statement” after Wilder had KO’d Breazale.

There’s so much on the line I don’t see AJ taking too many risks with Pulev.

Had a great dream last night that injury prone Pulev pulled out of the fight in mid May and they replaced him with fat Andy, who this time in decent shape (training for an easy comeback fight) brutalised Joshua to repeat the nightmare of MSG.

WAR ANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm guessing Helenius wouldn't get a shot at AJ until Summer 21 at the earliest as he has to fight Pulev, Fury and Usyk first?

Nah they will fight Helenius he's a nice easy KO, and an easy sell to the casuals being a huge guy with a few brutal ko's on his reel.

He is now at the front of the queue as a preferred opponent imo

Well he has to fight Usyk after Pulev unless he gets an exemption for a unification against TF or WBO will strip him. He could go Pulev, Usyk, Helenius if either Wilder beats Fury and won't fight AJ again or Fury wins but somehow the negotiations break down.
