Brit/Ire Anthony Joshua (WBA, IBF, WBO & IBO) vs. Kubrat Pulev - December 12th 2020

  • CHB will be closing down as of 31st July 2021. It's been a brilliant experience to run the website for the past 9 years, however it's time for me to move onto different projects. Thanks to every single person involved, from staff, former staff, posters old and current. All support means more than anyone knows. Thanks for your understanding.

Really shows who’s for the fans and who’s not, “humble” AJ not returning until he can collect a full arena gate, while Dillian‘s willing to fight in a back garden to put on a show.
So waiting for the fans is now anti fans?

Two PPVs in a week just before Christmas during a pandemic? Doesn't sound too clever to me but we'll see how they go with the numbers. Although the AJ one is only PPV for us here in the UK so it's only 1 PPV elsewhere I guess.

Good finish to the year though so let's hope they go ahead so we can sort out the division once and for all early next year.

Those dates are three and a half months away and a lot could change by then. But equally, it might still be just the same as it is now.

Surely he's got enough to take a hit and be more active?
Of course he has, but everyone on that card has a contract that needs to be paid, those numbers were worked out assuming we'd be back to normal. Aj of course has enough to live on but he still won't come cheap and he will still want the fans there which is fair enough. I don't see any harm at all in it being pushed back. You'll not get any stars in boxing fighting till the crowds are back, canelo won't be either.
