No no no no no. It was privileged white men. Muslims are very good people, open minded and accepting of other cultures.
Privileged white men are the worse for everything domestic abuse, homophobia, racist violence.

I mean the actually statistics point to a completely different reality but that's because those aganecies are racist and its a Rothschilds agenda.

Was listening to the John Murray episode of boxing life stories recently and talks about the retina issues that ended his career. Had a difficult time adjusting at first.

He changes his mind throughout the interview regarding the benefits of boxing and whether he would change anything, but at one point he spesifically states that it is not worth going blind in one eye for his boxing career.

Your sight is not dome thing you want to take chances with.

Mate,

No one actually cares if people are gay/lesbian apart from Muslims these days.
That's simply not true. Most people don't care, but a significant number do. You can see it even on here, just look at the Straight Pride thread on the lounge. Two gay men were attacked in Liverpool the other week, one of them stabbed and it was by complete strangers who saw them and began hurling homophobic insults at them.

Look at the stir in Northern Ireland over legalising gay marriage.

A lot of these "homophobic" attacks reported in the papers and shoved in our faces have agendas behind them and don't tell the full story.

Example..

Yeah some are more than just an attack for people being gay, but abuse does happen and the main point is that it is not only Muslims who care. The fact that there's not a single openly gay footballer tells you that there is not an environment that is so accepting of it that no gay person would feel any pressure to hide it.

There isn't a single gay Iman either. At least the west and Christianity tries to accommodate for the LGTB community.

These sporadic attacks are vile and horrible but when I see groups of Christians protesting outside schools whilst pretending to be oppressed then I will change my line of thinking.

You've seen The Westoboro Baptist lot right?

You cannot be an openly gay Catholic priest either.

I agree with you that anti gay views are more heavily found in Muslim communities than the rest of society in the west, but it is not "only" Muslims at all, and in the US in particular there's plenty of homophobic views within Christian communities.

They have about 5 members are based in some inbred community in America.

However I didn't see any Christian groups protesting outside schools against the LGBT element of sexual education.

The media however tried to keep the whole angry Muslim parents protesting situation in the down-low but are happy to make Christian hotel owners refusing to let rooms to gay guests front page news.

Would you rather be a gay person here or in the middle East or Somalia? I don't even need you to answer it.

All of this is irrelevant to my post. I didn't say the issue was not a bigger one within Islam, nor did I suggest that our country was not one of the best in the world for gay people, I said it's not only Muslims in this country who care and are homophobic.

It's not. There's plenty of homophobic people about and that's within both religious and non religious groups.

It's far worse in Muslim countries and it's far worse in Christian countries like Uganda and Jamaica too. It's not great in places like Russia either...none of which relates to my initial post, which was just pointing out that what you'd initially said was not correct.

You don't, and I don't...but lots of people do. The parents protesting at that school were Muslim parents in an area with a high proportion of the kids being Muslim. If it had been at a Catholic school, you might well have seen similar protests, or you might not...but you certainly would in Bible belt America. The Muslim community has a higher level of intolerance for homosexuality than other groups for sure...but it's not "only Muslims" who care. The very fact that we have had Airbnb hosts and bakers refuse gay people is testament to that.
