Cheesy as fuck looking cover and titles, but fuck me these guys are heavy as hell. Wonderful album this, great to work out to. I Am The Hammer is like being smashed in the face by a big breasted gorgeous woman, it hurts but its all quite offset by looking at her big wobbly breasts.

One of the best album imo out in the last few years. Very old school but sounds really forward thinking. The singer can cut it live, and has incredible vocals, that boy can sing.

seen them live once or twice - to me it was always a blatant homage to 80s metal ! (but in a great way)

Loving this young Canadian band. Huge Judas priest and rob hlaford vibe mixed with speed metal, excellent stuff. Cant wait for album to drop.
Wow, sounds like Judas Priest, but more like a Ripper Owens kinda tone. He will fuck up his voice, I guess.

I love the current Dream Theater album, can't wait to see them tour with it:

Saw Power Trip last year as supporting act for Trivium. Classic 80's thrash, no bling bling, heavy riffs, solid singer. Had a great show, blew me away:

My brother played these guys all the time. The Meantime album is definitely very very good, one of the best "metal" albums i've ever heard.

This band is crazy epic, there last album is one of my all time favs, have huge hopes for this to break them big. Middle section is crazy, like from a film soundtrack.

Has this been posted yet? Jesus Christ, it's amazing. The whole album.

This is violent art.
Death are fucking sick and just seemed to get better, up until the day Chuck Schuldiner died.

I'm still heavily in to Dillinger at the moment. Those guys really ended on a high.

Yeah I got into Dillinger a couple of months back too. Great band.

I was looking through metal bands on RYM and Death - Symbolic was one of highest rated. I can't believe how good it is. Can't wait to listen to the rest of their albums.

Does hard techno count as 'extreme'? I consider this pretty extreme, it seems to have metal inspiration

There is some techno type metal or prob some of the industrial stuff uses elements of techno. God flesh used to I believe. Street cleaner was a brutal album.

seeing them one last time in NYC - Madison Sq Garden this November - gonna be insane
Seen Slayer a few times but... I relinquished two chances to see them on their farewell tour last year... once at Download Sydney so I could see Ghost, and then at Wacken so I could see Crazy Lixx.

FUCK I am a cheesey bastard.

It was only because I'd never see the other bands.

Saw Slayer three times in the UK. They were the most intense, scary band I ever saw - they were also fantastic musicians.

I never saw Public Enemy but I would imagine they would have been amazing. I don't know if you class PE as extreme other than their political views, but hell they must have been so good live.
