I honestly haven't watched a fight in months I simply don't have the time, I have to be asleep by 10:30pm most nights so staying up for fights now is impossible. I honestly never thought I'd get to this point and stop watching boxing it's been a passion since I was 13-14, hopefully something will change and I get more free time at some point so I don't have to sleep so early and start watching boxing again, but fuck knows when that will be.

Earlier today I was somewhat confident AJ would get redemption and win on pts. Then came the weigh-in and that confidence increased. But then I watched a replay of the 1st fight, and now I'm scratching my head again. At best, AJ won 2 of the 7 rds of that fight, and got knocked down 4 times in the end. That's difficult to reverse.

So, I dont know who will win. I will be watching.

Ruiz is just so damn fat...
This can only mean Ruiz is coming in to walk through Joshua....while AJ will want to be lighter on his feet and box. All these weight changes can only favor Joshua.

Either way super excited to see what happens tomorrow!

I put some money on Joshua. Fingers crossed.

I could have put more if not for Bovada ridiculous 6% transfer fee. GTFOH, thats insane.

One punch fucked Joshua up last time and of course, it can happen again but I see him finishing Ruiz this time, probably in the middle rounds.

I'm probably wrong but I think Ruiz is his kryptonite. He didn't really push until he knew he could hurt Joshua in their 1st fight so I think he'll come out blazing this one.

Going for Ruiz rounds 4-8 here.

That punch in the third by Ruiz concussed Joshua and he was just about done...easy pickings. He'd obviously never been so badly concussed in a fight before, hence the 'why am I feeling like this?'

That may well happen again this fight and I am sure Ruiz will probably go at him from the bell but I'm not sure he'll get him a second time. But, at HW anything can happen. The weight loss/gain may be be a factor though.

Hopefully a good fight.

If Joshua takes the Lewis/Klitschko approach (jab and grab), he'll win this fight easily.

The first fight was no fluke, but I think the second fight will be Joshua's redemption. Ruiz Jr. fatter, probably less mobile. Joshua lighter and will be looking to make this a long night. I don't think Joshua can stop the fat-man, guy took his best punch and came back with a vengeance. I think he can make this a boring one-sided affair, though. Be elusive, grab, and jab.

The only thing I know is in the first fight Ruiz took Joshua's punches very well and when he got to tagging Joshua, he folded like a cheap suit.

I think Ruiz has a good chance to repeat unless Joshua changes how he fought the first fight and suddenly developed a chin better than Amir Khan's.

Don't worry, I know he did and came back to win that fight. But he didn't come close to winning against Ruiz after repeated knockdowns.

Perhaps he took the guy too lightly in their first fight, kind of like Tyson did against Douglas, Ali did against Spinks, Louis did against Schmeling, etc. etc. etc.

Now he just has to show he can overcome that loss like Ali and Louis did and not "Fade off into Bolivian" like Tyson pretty much did.
