Hmm...i kinda thought we were a bit past that, tbh.

I can certainly see a pull back just before the halving but not sure it'll be as extreme as we've seen before.

I'm in two minds here, man. If the halving coincides with a real bull run then it might not pull back much at all.
With drop I meant something like 50%. So if LTC ends up rallying to $200 for the halving event then maybe a big drop back to $100? At some point larger players that bought in around $20 will be taking profits. I know I would if I chugged 10-50k at it at $20 and it went up to $200.

Some of these guys are just selling off at transient highs and rebuying small dips, regardless of historical context.

If i had the time/inclination that's what i'd be doing. That's the big difference with the stock market. The drops/rises in crypto present a significant opportunity to make a lot (or lose) of money quickly.

There's a serious problem with the speed at which you can move money around though.

If I were 21 years old, I’d likely be sitting behind a computer all day trading. My generation played online poker though, and now I have to work all day.

All I'm saying is nothing goes up forever and at some point people will be taking profits.
Rebuying dips works until it doesn't - the trend is your friend until the inevitable serious correction kicks in.

What do you mean with ''transient'' highs and why would one ignore historical context? ''History doesn't repeat but often rhymes''.

There's also a difference between trading LTCUSD or LTCBTC.

I’m saying they’re just day trading based on current trends.

So what does that mean exactly.

Will i need to move all my coins off Binance?
I assume you'll be blocked based on IP address. So many will simply use a VPN. Whether the US ban means they'll close accounts I don't know - keep an eye on their official channels.
