I'll be a buyer if price hits the middle BB @ $7600 on the weekly.

Cheers buddy!

But I've only offloaded my BTC, no better time. I'm keeping the rest considering them buy & walk away assets. But BTC was pissing me no end with it's huge swings, I saw the chance and got out. If it ever drops to $4k-$7k again I'll rebuy.

Speaking of which I sold mine to a broker on Bittylicous. These guys have big money and just buy and pump, I mean it's a good little earner if you have the cash to do it and can sit out the lul periods but w're talking $10,000's here.

How much was the fee to sell, or is that only to buy?

I know this thread is about Crypto currency... But I'm really interested in investing in general. I would just like some advice.

Where is the best place for beginners to start?... I've read Index Funds are good for beginners... Has anyone ever invested in one of them?

Or is Crypto currency the way to go? Or has anyone got any other suggestions?

Share dealing. Think of it like a pension just put in for the long term.

Many banks have share dealing platforms now. Not sure about brokers don't trust them. You pay a quarterly charge for the privilege and then you pay a trade fee and stamp duty on all buys.

Don't buy too little either, if say your trade fee is £15 and your stamp duty whatever your stocks have to rise significantly to offset that trade fee to buy.....and ofc to sell too. Example: £100 of stock needs to rise at least 30% to get your profit after buy and sell fees which is highly unlikely. This is why big investors make money because they can put down say £1 million and if it raises in value by just 1%........that's £10,000 profit. And stocks typically rise and fall 3% a day. This is because investor companies like Goldman Sachs and the rest buy and sell in such large volume causing these daily ripples and making themselves rich in the process. Basically they're buying and selling with each other but siphoning wealth from small investors.

Invest what you can afford to lose, no more. And if your shares fall sit on them don't panic sell.

Best way would maybe be Google? There are also plenty of apps where it's quite easy to create an account, send money to it ans buy stocks. FAANG is quite popular I guess.

There's a thread on here for that. Will help you in there as it gets more views and people contributing.
