Anyone invest in Cryptocurrency?

  • CHB will be closing down as of 31st July 2021. It's been a brilliant experience to run the website for the past 9 years, however it's time for me to move onto different projects. Thanks to every single person involved, from staff, former staff, posters old and current. All support means more than anyone knows. Thanks for your understanding.

No idea what you just said there lmao

I bought one of these a few years back, and stored a large amount of TRX in it. But not used it in like 2 years or more, so I'm having issues getting it to load up on my pc so I can see everything stored on there.

Hmm interesting. Do most people who invest in cryptocurrency have one of those?

It's not required, the advantage is that you're not at risk of storing coins on a website, then when the website dies, your coins die (I've lost a few nano this way); or you could format your harddrive/corrupt hard drive and lose coins stored on your pc.

But they're quite expensive, and not at all 'required' - but they're decent options. Quite a few variations out now as I got mine a few years ago, so worth looking at what's available.

Any of you jammy fucks got Bitcoin? My dickhead mate bought Bitcoin when we all dipped into crypto, and now he’s saying he knew all along that it was going to be huge and it was fucking obvious.

Hindsight’s always 50/50.

I thought about it last year. decided wasn't worth it. I've since decided I'm an idiot.

Na, fuck thinking that. Literally any of those cryptos could’ve gone berserk, and 99% of them plummeted into oblivion. Nobody knew what was going to happen, and anyone pretending they did is just full of shit.

Since my mate’s bitcoin flew up he’s reading about them more and more and dropping technical terms about the market and cryptos, but when he bought them he didn’t know fuck all. He just took the plunge like everyone else and was lucky enough to nail it.

YEah, I first got in during the ATH of Jan 2018 (or whenever) then it all crashed a week later.

I think it's always obvious that BTC will keep rising over time (until something replaces it), and I think that crypto is definitely the future in some fashion.

I genuinely think Nano is a fantastic coin - really fast, zero fees - but it's not being adopted at all.

I need to read through this and the OTH investments thread, get a better understanding of what to look for in alts. I think I saw someone post about looking for low marketcap coins.

Will there be another bitcoin type that will be worth good money in a year from now? I know it's not possible to predict these things, but just curious as you lot know way more than I do.

eritherium is the alt one I’d take a £50 punt on.
I predict the biden administration will tank the dollar so I’d be very surprised if you lose your £50...which is just the price of one game.

Oh okay. I have heard of that on here. I will have to look into it. Is there a specific resource you use to invest?

It'll need a Version update.
