Where did I say it was a problem dickhead? It is a characteristic of the beer. A characteristic bought about by them not using brown bottles. You are even thicker than I thought.

Any beer using hops are subject to skunking. However, new advancements in the beer industry have led to the development of light stable hops to prevent this chemical reaction when exposed to solar radiation.

Great northern,iron jack,xxxx gold,storm,all mid strength, even fosters,swan,all good lagers,don't get drunk stop at tippsy,can't handle hangovers, but for you Hazza I'll try the coopers my bro in-law loves it,

Just walked past the bozzer at new mine site I'm on,its a mix of great northern, Carlton dry,corona,VB pretty even mix.no pale ale garbage.but can't blow any numbers on morning breatho or its a window seat out.

surprised they've got corona, most minesite boozers have vb, xxxx, and tooheys. maybe bundy in cans too.

no fancy beer, just lager. which is fine, usually if you're out there in 50C all you want is vb anyway, quenches the thirst quick smart.

where are you working by the way, which site/ state?

what's your job out there?

as far as the breatho goes, there's a trick to aviod blowing numbers.

i'll assume you're 6am-6pm, 12 hr shifts.

ok so you get the bus back to site around 5:45pm.

straight to the boozer and have your first one at 6pm.

have a look on the side of the can how many standard drinks it contains, its usually 1.3 per can.

ok so that means if you drink that beer, it will be 1.3 hours until you're 0.000 again.

that's because your body will process 1 drink per hour.

so basically add up how many cans you had, times it by 1.3 and that's how many hours it'll be before you blow 0.000 again.

so my max was 6 beers to be on the safe side.

6 x 1.3 = 7.8 hours, round it up to 8 say.

that means if you have your first beer at 6pm sharp, you'll be sweet by 2am, well in time to start work at 6am :good

Yegh 12 hr shifts, day n night,2 wks on 2 off,I stick to mids,no more than 2,do light workout after work,in S.A very very big mine,I'm on a drill rig,I'm deliberately being brief,reckon you'll figure it out.

well basically it goes like this.

walk into the boozer, check out the taps and if they have coopers pale, then its a pint of that in a frosted glass.

next i'll search for 150 lashes, then fat yak.

if i can't get any of that then i'll see what they've got in bottles. usually redback or coopers pale in the bottle.

also corona.

one other beer i forgot to mention is weihenstephaner, that stuff on tap in a tall pint is just awesome.

the only place i ever saw it on tap is the settlers tavern in margaret river wa :good

Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier and Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse for me!
