Included the 8 largest downtowns in America from 1 to 8...... (Downtown Washington DC is actually the 4th largest but does not have skyscrapers)....

My vote goes to Seattle...Absolutely beautiful city and landscape.

1.NYC

2. Chicago

3. Philadelphia

4. San Francisco

5. Seattle

6. Miami

7. Houston

8. Dallas

Has to be New York though. Nothing else comes close in terms of iconography. Could probably name almost as many individual (non-stadium) NY buildings as the rest of the country combined, I'd say. :conf

NY has to be 1 also cause of how big it is, Chicago and Philly look massive and I dont think both combined would even be as big as the NY skyline, might be wrong tho but it looks that way

I think you are right. Especially when you compare the full skylines from over head. NY is fucking insane.

Few other nice ones... LA should be a lot bigger though when compared to it's land mass and population. Atlanta has good size compared to it's population... Pittsburgh has a great landscape and its very beautiful.

I actually think DC comes out #2. Lack of skyscrapers doesn't bother me when it opens up room for views of much more distinct and cooler-looking large monuments and classical stone buildings.

Surprised at how nice the Houston skyline is.
The Texas cities mainly Dallas and Houston look beautiful... I think alot has to do with how newer looking all the buildings are and mostly all made of glass. I feel like the lack of the older earlier century buildings though give them a much less fuller look then the east coast cities and also Chicago.
