I might go to this

Quality fighter is Billy
He's a disgrace. Ten years as a pro and who has he fought ? Lemeaux and Lee.

Meanwhile the division has had numerous quality fighters operating in it. Canelo, ggg, Jacobs, Cotto, Martinez etc.

Now he fucks off to a new division for vacant title fight and undoubtedly years of more subpar fights.

But harsh IMO.

He also fought Eubank and Munroe who are decent, not forgetting Ryder too.

Was he at world level when Martinez or Cotto were at the top? Didn’t he sign to fight Golovkin in Kazakhstan?

That being said this is one of the worst vacant title match ups I’ve ever seen.

Has anyone seen Isufi in action? Not that I'm expecting much, but you never know; his record could be very deceiving...

I'm mostly looking forward to seeing how the stadium is setup for the boxing, TBH. My attention on the night will mainly be focused on the WBSS show in Glasgow.

I have a funny feeling after Saturday night Billy Joe's reputation will have taken a hammering. He doesn't usually perform well after long periods of inactivity, that coupled with a big tough fella coming down from Cruiserweight.

Could be a banana skin and maybe a fight he will struggle to win...but we will see.

Brook, he's a gobshite too but he fought Porter, GGG and Spence. Quite a gulf in class between them and Saunders' opposition.

Most of those you mentioned are solid fighters but none elite. A decade as a pro and two years as a title holder but not a single elite opponent faced.

If he had boxed Andrade I would say he has boxed everyone available (I believe he would of beaten Andrade very easily) but I do see your point

Everyone available?

He didn't fight Canelo, GGG, or Jacobs, they were the best available and everyone one of those fights could've been made if he wanted them.

Martinez was still the Middleweight champ 5+ years after he turned pro, Cotto was the champ 6+ years after.

I'm not saying he should of fought them all, that's unrealistic but he could've fought some of them. If him and Frank had of called Golovkin K2 and HBO and said we want to fight GGG in Vegas would they have said no ? Would Canelo and Golden boy ? Of course not, bottom line is he has had no ambition to fight the best.

I meant everyone available to him. The Canelo fight for example has never been on the table.
