So Hearn confirmed to Rafael they turned it down...Thats real strange.

Maybe Hearn thinks he can use the power of social media to create fan pressure and tilt things in smiths favour during negotiations.

Or perhaps Hearn is trying to double dip...Get BJ Saunders the Canelo fight and put on Smith vs Danny Jacobs at Anfield in the summer. Two big promotions and double the cut for Hearn.

Weird. Will wait for the full story/what smith's team say, but it's an odd one to turn down.

Also, if Hearn turned it down without talking to Smith and Joe G, they it won't help their frosty relationship at all.

Can someone explain why BJS is fighting at 168? I thought 160 was his best weight.
Lost his 160 belt for drugs. Didn't fancy the split to face Andrade as challenger, Frank got him one of his classic vacant WBO belts, no point in letting it go until the right fight at middleweight comes up.

I rather see BJS and Canelo but I also heard on twitter than offer for BJS was turned down as well.
If they are all turning it down Canelo might as well fight Eubank jnr... Entartaining fight while it lasts and interesting build up. Eubank snr will be in his element he was made for Vegas.
