good shout. i always thought of him as a mw, but boxrec says he was 6 1! to be fair though he only fought his last 6 fights at smw and didnt get a single ko, in fact he lost one himself.

il be honest im still not 100% convinced callum smith is the real deal as in a p4p contender, but i am 100% convinced canelo has an iron mandible.

Canelo is pushing his luck. I don't understand why Canelo doesn't go for Gilberto Ramirez at a stadium in Mexico. Surely that makes more sense if he wants to fight for a belt at 168.

I dont know if Smith has the fundamentals, when he's pushed backwards, to hang with Canelo and not get broken down.

If he does though, he definitely has the size and power to cause problems.

I'd go Canelo ko.

I like the fight. But it would likely be 5 or 6 months away based on Canelo's typical callender.

To stand any chance smith would have to defect from Gallagher as a trainer and use someone with a more fluid and offensive game plan

Smiths size is definitely going to be a big factor in the fight

He's a unit at the weight

But something is still telling me canelo will cut him down to size

Err Ramirez light heavyweight it would be a blood bath. As for Canelo he has massive balls to come to uk. Really no need he is the man State side. Its a strange one we dont know how good Callum Smith is.

Would rather see Eubank vs vs Canelo. For as long as ut lasted would be stunning

Is it hard to think that Canelo, so often accused of being the bigger man, could flip his career and have his most success as the smaller man (GGG, Jacobs, Smith)?
