Ryder said he was offered more money for the Eubank Jr. fight than against Callum, so I see that still happening if Eubank's side go ahead with their plan for the bout.

Joe G spitting the truth bombs - Matchroom DO NOT have a option on Callums next fight according to Joe, despite Hearn claiming they do.

Joe also mentioned the Triple G and Matchroom partnership, saying Matchroom have been paying Triple Gs opponents money :yep Joe don't give a fuck.

Callum Smith is really wasting his time with matchroom. The only top fight he has gotten with them is the Groves fight, and that was a tournament not even hosted by matchroom. He is 29, at his peak, he is not going to be getting any better than he is now and he is still wasting around fighting tune ups and keep busy fights. Career passing him by

its really unlike matchroom or sky to let such a good asset go to waste. ive always had the impression hes not 100% into it, never seems completely committed. compare this to how they flogged workhorses such as allen or even smiths stablemate crolla.

anyone got any inside info? all just seems a bit strange.

He makes a great point about match room not promoting callum right, he just won the super six and kos groves, perfect time to push him, he's a good boxers, not a bad looking lad, I honestly think if sky pushed Smith he has the ability to be a ppv star in the same way froch was. There are some huge fights to be made for him.

So if he leaves Hearn his first fight away from Matchroom will probably be on a matchroom show against Ryder lol.

Realistically, is there a promoter out there who has a better chance of getting him big fights than Hearn?

Honest question.

There isn't really much at Super Middle at the moment is there? Benavidez or Plant. BJS, Eubank maybe.

Hearn has some links to most of the high profile fighters at middle. Don't think GGG or Canelo will be in a rush to face him though.

Lot of guys would take the fight at light heavy, but I would think Tesco joe will view them all as high risk/low reward. Out with Kovalev, who is prob looking to cash out against Canelo.
