It's an evil sneaky bastard of a disease. Sorry to hear you're going through it for a second time, nobody deserves that.

Good luck to you. Make sure when you're looking back on it in two years you're not saying "i should have done this". Do those things. But you know that already i'm sure.

Sure is, a close friend is having the worst run in with this horrid disease, they found his mother was sick first so he and his brother took turns helping his dad take care of her when she was home and when his dad went on a business trip, then his dad was feeling sick while on this trip and went to a doctor and found he had cancer too, he came home for treatment eventually but in less than a month he was gone and from what I gather it's not looking good for his mom either, total nightmare really...

Hope you are coping as well as you can in such a terrible situation, I can't even imagine how bad it must feel even with someone so close to me going through it right now I still can't...

Sorry to hear this. Dont miss a chance to be with her and take every opportunity to let her know how much she means to you. It'll mean the world to her and give you peace of mind in the future. Best wishes.

Really sorry to hear that mate, it's a right cunt. My dad had cancer in 2011 and was given 6 months to live, but he responded really well, and he's still here, but the tumours are back and growing and not responding well to treatment. Not sure how long he has left. Mum got it too but is fully recovered.

Sorry for how things have turned out for your parents. Cancer is a bitch for sure and I really don't know if I can count the number of people I've known over the years that have issues with it, many leading to their demise.

My wife lost her younger brother, father and mother to cancer over a stretch of 2 years and those deaths were the first to hit her immediate family. Needless to say, she took it hard.

A death in the family is hard to deal with and I think a long, drawn out illness like cancer really drains most families emotionally with the ups and downs involved in it. Sounds like she's in hospice care and if so, she's likely being cared for to not have any pain, and at this point that is a good thing.

Can't even express how hard this hits home. Take time every chance you get to tell your people, family, friends how much you love them. Prayers to you and your loved ones.

Both of my grandfathers and several other family members died from or have had cancer. I’ll probably die from it if something else doesn’t kill me first, but I don’t really give a fuck. We’re born to die. Life is a death sentence. Make the best of it while you’re here, fuckers.
