Other than the Toy Story movies I think the last film I saw him in the lead was Sully that film about the plane ditching into the Hudson river. He's not as high profile as he once was. I think the movie industry has changed it's no longer about the big star headlining the movie anymore, you now have more ensemble casts and it's more the story that drives the hype and sales, which is why you get so many remakes, reboots and films made from other media, such as books, video games and TV shows or anything with an already established following.
Today, movies seem to rely more on CGI with crazy special effects blaring over the speakers and lighting up the screen. The role of the actors seems to be almost secondary to the action scenes.
