I'm very impressed by Benn's improvement since I last saw him. Different fighter
He's much improved.

Seems to have his head screwed on and is trying hard to get better. I also think he's honest with himself regarding where he is.

His defense and chin are still liabilities though, and I don't think he'll make it to world level. Would like to be wrong however.

His only option is to fight another couple of opponents like Formella. Whilst simultaneously calling out the big names. Maybe he can talk his way into a world title shot.

Otherwise he will follow the very longlist of sons of former champions , who fell well short and never even got to fight for a championship.

This is the way to say it Conor ... "Another two fights and I want Terence Crawford."

Atleast you can say you fought p4p one of the best.

Respect to Benn looked very good listens to the corner put the work in this year and yea spiteful punches. I like it that he has a nasty streak.

Wardley that jab can only applaude

Won £100 on the Savage to win in under 4 lol Nelson going mad for Little taking easy way out. He was in on it lol. All over twitter everyone lumping on. Nice to get 1 over the bookies.

Well in defence of Little he had all the delusions of winning beat out of him.

Probably decided "Screw this"... and took a well needed rest on the canvas. And way out of the beating he was taking.

I'd make Jenkins for the British and commonwealth if possible, then josh Kelly if he has beaten Avanesyan, or Kongo if he hasn't.

Tough, but winnable fights where he will continue to learn and his ranking will improve with all the bodies.

Or, go down the Wilder route and keep fighting bums till you have a great record on paper.

I think he might struggle to get a title shot any time soon. The champs all have big profiles and a lot of clout with the orgs. So he has time to take the right fights first.

Eddie Hearns hype generating machine is the best out there.

It is quite possible that at the end of next year he could tempt one of the American champs to come over for an easy paycheck. Against a Conor Benn.

The amount of media coverage Benn got for fighting Formella was quite surprising to me.

And the amount of casuals suddenly raving about him on Social Media is something else. I have not seen that since AJ was knocking out the likes of Sprott, . Alot of the AJ casuals seem to also be jumping on the Conor Benn band wagon.

Conor Benn is well on his way to becoming a star. And Josh Kelly he seems on his way to becoming a forgotten prospect. If he loses to Avenysyan I have a feeling Hearn will consider him a bad investment and quitely remove him from the Matchroom roster.

Mind you I am getting the feeling Hearn already considers Kelly a bad investment.

I think you are right with Kelly. Hearn seems to be pushing him towards sink or swim fights.

He doesn't have a big fan base, has a boring style, and Booth is hard to work with. If he's not going to be a world champ then Hearn might think he's not worth long term investment in the current climate.

Thats what I though until I watched his .Previous fight with Wiston Campos. Now I am not so sure.

I hope they fight and the odds are close so I can win money on Kelly.

As for Benn he has gained an entire new fanbase. For being emotional and missing his family. The above video went viral.

Thats a strange one. Imagine if Eubank Junior did this. Eubank Senior would be like, " A warrior does not show emotion. A true warrior is devoid of emotion and attachments he walks alone, and thrives and hunts in solitude like a Tiger in the jungle.. junior a prizefighters life is a solitary one just like that of a Tiger so go out their and become one because that is the way of the warriors code" lol.
