There isn't a country in the world that wouldn't give a great deal to be COVID free. Or even to be just on top of COVID.

For the first time in human history, the entire planet's medical institutions are virtually singularly focused on one project only - developing a working, safe vaccine as quickly as possible, with no regard to cost. This is the Manhattan Project of our time, except far bigger. And of course, medical knowledge and computing power is far advanced from when the mumps vaccine was developed in the....... 1960s.
What kind of a complete retard wouldn't acknowledge any of THAT?

The Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Authority (MHRA) has paid Genpact UK a tender of £1.5m to develop an AI tool to sift through the high volume of reports of adverse reactions to COVID-19 vaccines.
The government contract states that the AI tool will “process the expected high volume of Covid-19 vaccine adverse drug reaction (ADRs) and ensure that no details . . . are missed.”
Agreements are being made surrounding the liability on pharmaceutical companies following any side-effects from a COVID-19 vaccine.
Unexpected side-effects are rare, but the speed at which coronavirus vaccines are being produced raises the risks.

I can see Your point, it's one I'd have shared not so long back. I don't think vaccines should be forced on people, which it seems they're trying to do. The Oxford vaccine has already been proved not as effective as they originally stated, we already know they've put out false information, yet we are supposed to trust them to put shit in our bodies? Not for me.

Like DB said... you're envy is understandable.
Our government reacted quickly. Acknowledged the seriousness of it all shut down temporarily and we're sweet.
Life is more or less back to normal here and we are healthy and safe with like 13 cases nationally that are all contacted traced and we know where they are. No community transmissions for weeks... while you yanks get thousands dying daily and it's out of control everywhere.
We've got a government who believes science mate. Vaccines work. We are gonna be all sweet
