Cosmetic surgery

It doesn't seem like long ago, the only people who were getting cosmetic surgery were celebrities or vain women, but does anyone else know a of people who've had it? I know of 6 people who've had a hair transplant in Turkey, including a couple of lads at the boxing gym, and then quite a few more who've had their teeth done too with a full set of veneers. I still have really thick hair, thankfully, but I'd definitely consider getting a hair transplant if I was starting to go thin.

Have you had anything done? If not, would you go for it in the future?

If you’re including things like Botox, fillers, Liposuction and fat freezing, then probably dozens.

A lot of guys are a bit naive when it comes to women getting cosmetic surgery. We see a shite boob job and decide we don’t like boob jobs. We see a really well done boob job, don’t realise we’re even looking at a boob job, and decide we prefer natural breasts. Similar story with most cosmetic procedures - the goal of the surgeon isn’t to create an artificial look unless that’s what the patient wants. The goal is to enhance/improve natural features.

I’m not sure what I would consider because aesthetics for men basically consists of staying in half decent shape, washing regularly and dressing well. Maybe Botox or something like that.

My sister had a boob job done (no pics). She asked my Dad to borrow the money, he used two words, one was 'off' and the other was 'fuck'. The boob job cost my sister £3k.

If I would have anything done it'd be my nose, make it a bit more piggy, if you know what I mean. My nose is my worst feature, aside from this I'm absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately the ridiculously fit Polish girl at work doesn't see it.

She will.

If I had a daughter and she asked to borrow money for a boob job I would literally laugh my tits off.

I’m not giving you money for cosmetic procedures, especially one that’s only going to be enjoyed by some bloke you’re banging......

I should at least get a go myself first. :yep:hey

I know it's not really cosmetic surgery but I had both my front teeth sorted a few weeks ago as some fucker smacked me for trying to fuck their girlfriend and chipped both of them, they were wearing a ring when they smacked me.

Veneers next. That'll be a thousand pounds I'd imagine.

Men?

I know a couple of guys who had hair transplants, a guy that had his teeth done, a guy who had laser treatment on his skin, and kids that got their ears pinned back.

Apparently there is a growing trend for men to get their legs extended to be taller.

They break the femur, put in plates, and gradually extend it over a period of months. Lots of rehab required. Sounds mental and terrifying.

Women.
I know some who have had boob jobs, veneers, fillers, stuff like that. They all looked pretty good.

A lot of women get too much done, or do it on the cheap and they look a right state. You see loads of rough looking women with tattoos, boot polish hair, and lips like a fish.

I don't think I would consider a hair transplant as you can still get women if you are bald.

I would get my teeth done if they were bad though. That's a big turn off for most people.

Pretty sure this was done in the film Gattaca. Sickened my stomach then and that was just a Sci Fi. The thoughts of real people actually doing that. Holy moly.

Sounds horrible, but then again, that guy was 5’4 before surgery. That’s a proper shit hand to be dealt.

He grew to 5’7, which isn’t great in itself, but I can see why someone would opt for something like that under the circumstances.

I'd seriously consider a hair transplant if it goes. I'm 44, a short, fat, ugly little guy but I have a luxurious head of hair, think homer simpsons with his miracle re-grow. If the hair goes im fucked so yeah id be down for that should the need arise. I also have hideous British teeth but so does 90% of the population so sod it.

Yeah, surgery all depends on what your initial hand is and how you cope with it.

I've got a cousin who's only about 5'4, but he's always done well with women, and usually had a much taller good looking girl on his arm.

He was always confident, funny, and had a big personality though.

He's also scottish and about 38 or so. If he was younger, or lived in a taller country maybe it would be different.

I feel for u m8 had to get my 2 front teeth replaced with implants 1 from rugby 1 from boxing. Be careful with veneers my Sister had sensitivity and know quite a few people who have the same issue.

Dental treatment is so expensive lol

My teeth look sound now. The dentist I went to said he could only do a certain amount because the NHS wouldn't pay for anything more than the £50 I threw at them, then I'd have to go private. As long as they last me six months I'm happy, they will, then it's veneers and a grand down the drain.

I used to work with a woman whose husband (yep, I had a crack at her) earned £150k a year before bonuses, he paid for her teeth sorted, £31k. Her parents wouldn't take her to the dentists when she was a nip. Her teeth weren't that bad to be fair, in fact they were fine, she just wanted them to look perfect.

She got the lot sorted.

If I came into some big money I'd get the fucking lot taken out, put false ones in.

See my message above about having to go private next time out.

I had to beg for a dental appointment, I had to lie, basically.

Veneers will happen, Ben, and I'll be so skint.

I know someone who got a boob job, they don't look great if I'm honest. One is apparently leaking and she doesn't have the money to get them done again.

My hair is thinning, but wouldn't consider getting a hair transplant, would just shave my head, I don't think I look bad with a shaved head.

Don't really think I would ever get anything done.

One of my best mates went to Istanbul for a hair transplant. His hair had just begun receding and it wasn't that noticable but he wanted it done ASAP. He had a scabby head for ages afterwards but once it healed up it starting growing back in full and he's super happy with it.

I am going bald but I decided to shave my head instead and surprised myself by actually liking how I looked with the shaven headed look.
