Cosmetic surgery

Haven't had it done and the only way I'd consider it would be if I got injured and the results were disfiguring, but repairable by plastic surgery. I've got gray hair and have earned every one of them, same with wrinkles-------it's all part of aging for everyone, even though some age better than others------they still age.

There's so many people out there who've had procedures done and the results were far less than ideal and probably not what they were hoping for that I'd never take that risk. And I'm not talking about the run of the mill middle class mom who wants a bit of a nick and tuck but celebrities with the $$$$ to hire surgeons who are considered the best, and they sometimes don't look the same.

Look at Mickey Rourke and Kenny Rogers, two guys who were considered handsome by many, had plastic surgery and Rourke came away looking totally fucked up and Rogers looked like he couldn't shut his eyes if he tied 5 lb. weights to his eyelids.

I've got a friend who recently retired and for years he'd dye his hair black to have a more youthful appearance because he felt like if he let it go gray, like it was naturally, he'd be out of place in his youth oriented industry.

Vanity is a hell of a mental issue for many, and that is basically all it is with so many of the ones that have these surgeries done.

My teeth look sound now.

If I came into some big money I'd get the fucking lot taken out, put false ones in.
I have all my teeth with the exception of 1 lower back tooth on the right side. I even still have one wisdom tooth that is fine and not giving me any issues. I feel like you, especially at my age that I'd not pay for implants or other permanent tooth replacement options. I'd have what needed pulling and either decide on partial plates or simply remove them all and have full denture put in.

I'm not going in the hole for tens of thousands of dollars at 68 and above. If I was in my 30's or 40's, I'd probably consider it since most folks have a good 30+ years of life left at that age.

I'd seriously consider a hair transplant if it goes. I'm 44, a short, fat, ugly little guy but I have a luxurious head of hair, think homer simpsons with his miracle re-grow. If the hair goes im fucked so yeah id be down for that should the need arise. I also have hideous British teeth but so does 90% of the population so sod it.
You are on the internet man. Everyone here is young, at least 6 2, tanned, buffed, rich and constantly hounded by babes.

Nobody on the internet needs work done. We are all perfect.

My teeth aren't bad. I have a cracked back tooth which at the moment isn't bothering me.

As for my front teeth I just want those veneers. I'll get there. It'll cost me an absolute fortune but it'll be worth it.

Round and about
Mate had his teeth done, tats removed, and spent 9k on a hair transplant cos he had a bald patch. Mid life crisis. He's already attracting a better class of gold digger on the dating sites so he's chuffed.

He's 6.4. I said to him why you bothering with a hair transplant, no one's gonna see the bald patch unless you're tying your shoelaces ffs.

I’m thinning out on top at an alarming rate.

Only 30 and I’m pretty sure I don’t have the right shape noggin to pull off a baldy.

Haven’t gotten serious about it but I’ve considered the hair transplants a lot

See my message above about having to go private next time out.

I had to beg for a dental appointment, I had to lie, basically.

Veneers will happen, Ben, and I'll be so skint.

Be careful private pal that shit expensive and u do need to be a bit vocal otherwise they try and get u to have all kinds of treatments. I go private all my family do but its a complete piss take

I'm surprised at how much they change people's look, honestly. There's some people on YouTube with genuinely awful smiles yet once they've got their teeth sorted, they look like a different person. I thought they could get them whiter, a bit straighter etc. but the difference is night and day. It's impressive.

Looks like a decent holiday in Turkey too.
