I didn't see if you updated or not so maybe you already said.

But how did it go?
You're right, I didn't update. I didn't have any major side effects from the second shot, but I was tired and weak as hell the next day and called out from work. Slept until like 12, tried to do some grocery and struggled to bring in the bags, then fell asleep another 4-5 times throughout the day.

I was pretty much normal the second day after, though.

A whole lot better than than catching the virus I am guessing. Short term pain for long term gain.

“Britain is offering to host the entire European football championships this year after ministers drew up plans to let fans back into football stadiums and outdoor music festivals by the end of May.

Oliver Dowden, the culture secretary, has signalled to Uefa, European football’s governing body, that progress on vaccinations means the UK will have crowds back in stadiums before most of Europe. Wembley stadium is set to host the semifinals and then the final on July 11, but government sources said if they are asked to take on more games, which are due to be played around Europe, they would respond positively.

The proposal has been made possible by Boris Johnson’s “road map to recovery”, which the prime minister will publish tomorrow.

He will announce new targets for vaccinations, with all adults offered jabs by July 31, a month earlier than the deadline previously set. All vulnerable groups aged over 50 will have the chance to get their injections by the middle of April, two weeks earlier than previously planned.

The NHS announced yesterday that two-thirds of those aged 65 to 69, a total of two million people, have been vaccinated, just a week after being sent invitations. About 460,000 people aged 64 will be called forward to receive their first dose from tomorrow. More than 17.2 million people have received their first dose and almost 600,000 have had their second.

Johnson will publish a 60-page document outlining the earliest date at which each restriction will be lifted but make clear that ending lockdown will depend on vaccinations and mass testing controlling the virus. The document will detail the potential economic and social costs of restrictions, as well as the health implications.
From March 8 all schools will return and people will be able to sit down outdoors to have a coffee or sit in a park with members of their household or one friend or relative from outside it. From the same day one designated friend or relative can visit people in care homes and hold their hand, though kisses and hugs will remain off limits.
From March 29 people will be able to see family and friends in groups of up to six, or two whole families can meet outdoors in gardens or parks.“

  • Boris Johnson sets out his four-step plan to release England from lockdown
  • Step one, on 8 March, will see schools reopening and two people allowed to meet outdoors for a chat
  • From 29 March, outdoor gatherings of either six people or two households will be allowed
  • Outdoor sports, including football, golf and tennis, will be allowed to resume from 29 March as well
  • Step two would see shops, hairdressers and gyms reopen from 12 April in England
  • Also from 12 April, outdoor hospitality will resume, as well as zoos and theme parks
  • Step three would start on 17 May with most social contact rules lifted, as well as limited mixing indoors
  • The prime minister hopes that step four, from 21 June, would see the end of all legal limits on social contact
