So DDD could be world champion before JJJ when they have the same promoter?

Madness, UNLESS maybe JJJ will be fighting Bryan next but I doubt it. Perhaps he prefers the Usyk route so he can avenge his loss. I don't think DDD should be champ in 2 fights' time, he clearly needs more time in the academy so to speak, once you get the belt there's no more learning fights to be had and no more excuses

I like the thought of Dillian Whyte facing Trevor Bryan next, picking up the WBA 'Regular' then facing Dubois for the Title...

That would be better than DDD fighting Bryan for it but Whyte seems to have a nonsensical devotion to the WBC, look how long he's been waiting, they squeezed Breazeale in ahead of him and Fury's belt will be tied up for the rest of the year at least but he won't pursue anything else.

I think JJJ vs Bryan next is the fairest fight if Whyte as I expect doesn't try to get the fight for himself but in the heavyweight division as far as entertainment goes, after Fury vs Joshua I want to see, in fact I NEED to see Wilder vs Whyte preferably this year too, I'll pay for that without a question

Wow I wonder what happened there then? He should have gave Don Charles a ring if he was leaving Tibbs :smile, something must have happened, my guess is Tibbs doesn't have the time to give DDD that he needs, it was strange that he joined his stable whilst he was abroad and was waiting to get started once he got back from TX, now he's back he's probably got other things to do.

Seriously though Dave Coldwell would have been a good fit at least in terms of personalities and I like what he did with Bellew too bringing up to heavyweight to upset the odds, I lost all my money that night

Good choice..and a better choice then Tibbs.

According to Daily Mail Tibbs said he has other commitments... That commitment Is BJ Saunders I guess. Perhaps he did'nt think Saunders and Dubois in the gym together would be a good fit.

After the whole quitting controversy.

So Mark Tibbs has confirmed that it was his decision to end his relationship with Daniel Dubois before it really began and he says he did so because he didn't like the feeling he was getting but basically he was saying that Daniel's father is overbearing and interferes too much and he can't work for Stan Dubois he only wanted to deal with Daniel.

Nothing but nice things to say about Daniel and he sounds like he regrets that he couldn't just work with Daniel conceding that he'd have to deal with Dubois Sr if he was to work with Daniel and so he reluctantly said no thanks. Bowers is his manager so I wonder what it is his father does for him, according to Tibbs he called to ask to speak to Daniel and his father answered and he put Tibbs on loudspeaker so he could hear the conversation too, I wonder if this was all just fine with TIbbs Sr who had been keeping him ticking over whilst Mark was in the US but for Mark it just wasn't satisfactory?

Anyway credit to Boxing Social and the interviewer who is called Rob I think, he did a great job asking all the important questions, I thought he wasn't going to come on to DDD and I was ready to scream at the TV but he did and he asked everything I certainly wanted to know at least so I think I'll watch more of their content from now on.

Starts with Saunders and then DDD is around about the 22-25min mark if you just want to see that bit.

I think Dubois will be fine under McGuigan, more of an older brother vibe rather than an elder clashing with his father...

Dinu was once an EXTREMELY promising prospect. - But GYM and Interbox basically destroyed his career.

He's still just barely young enough to possibly make some noise in the division, but I wonder if he even has the will to train properly any longer.
Hasn't looked good since about 2016.

Does anyone know if he's still with Eddie Mustafa Muhammed, or has he just be bumming around Romania for the last 2 years?

Dinu can box, he's actually fairly textbook for a big heavyweight. A good jab, can double it up, doesn't take too many risks.

What he doesn't have, however, is heart. I believe he was only ever part-time too.

Dubois gets a very good ranking out of this and I think that's the problem. He gains little from a high ranking instead of rounds from durable heavies like Hammer or Wach.

I'm very pleased with the shape Dinu looks to be in for this one, hope we can get a few rounds. Fury and his opponent hitting 189 on the scales in what's being called a light-heavyweight contest, was this put together last minute or something? No females on the Queensbury card again, does Warren have any women fighters left on his books?

Good to see DDD back in business, if he wins he'll pick up the Interim WBA World Heavyweight Title and will surely then be higher in the WBA rankings than the guy who just stopped him. Only in boxing!

Carl Frampton in the studio clarifying the "DDD quit" comments he made after his last fight is quite funny, good way to kick off the broadcast! Nathan Heaney providing chief support tonight, apparently he's the reason the tickets have sold, anyone know anything about him?

only know Heaney beat a fellow Malteser in Christian Schembri a year or so ago in front of a packed house in Stoke.
Dont know much else about him.

On this performance, Jake Paul stops Tommy Fury quick...
