I want to see the Gorman fight... why not they both want it and a loss is not the end of the world for either.
Yeah this. Groves v Degale was a perfect example - Just make the fight, and if both are good enough they will end up at world level either way. In theory rematching along the way, and maybe even a trilogy at some point (Ok they fucked that part up, but nevermind)

Just let Gorman fight Dubois sometime early 2019, the winner moves on a level, the loser rebuilds but probably gets to the next level shortly after

Castle Duckula.
Yes, fight Gorman. By the time it is a big fight they will want to avoid each other like the plague or one will be well past his best. Just look at the Price vs Fury situation now. That would have been epic and an amazing night in British boxing at one point. Now Price is a shell and Fury doesn't want to fight til 2032 just in case he gets beaten.

Fight the likes of Sean Turner, Nathan Gorman. He's only 20 so in five years time he's still going to be young and far far better surely.

Looked like a seasoned pro at times, he's an impressive talent, yes he's a bit of a plodder but he's strong as an ox, punches hard and can box. Talk of Gorman is unrealistic, especially after how impressive Gorman was the other week. 3D is Frank's golden ticket, he isn't going to be in a really competitive, risky fight like that for a very long time, I'm okay with that, as long as Frank and BT cool off on the hype a little bit.

Dubois doesnt punch hard. In fact he is an arm puncher who fought a bunch of cans.

Yeah sure he is.

He has fought 8 guys who came to not get hurt, give him some competition and you will find he is a hard and accurate punch picker.

Little went in confident on Saturday and you could see the fear Dubois punches caused,he was hurt multiple times and did well not to get sparked.

Now I’m not naive enough to think he is a legit monster because of ko’s over area level guys,David Price and Dillian Whyte looked similar at the same stage, but he will always have equalising power in both hands even if he isn’t going to be a ko artist.

I am extremely suspicious about Dubois' ability to take a shot. This run of soft punching opponents is absolutely not co-incidental, a fact that is made clear that despite their collective lack of power, they are competent fighters at an acceptable level.

DDD's handlers are hiding summat....

He had 75 amateur bouts and sparred hundreds of rounds with Joshua and Joyce.

Surely if he was vulnerable we would already know.

I don't think we know as much about his amateur career as we did about AJ and Dave OTW. I saw almost ALL of AJs fights in the world championships and the Olympics. Saw quite a few of Daves, right up to his bronze in the olympics. From that I gleaned that AJ would be an excellent pro as he had size, could punch and could take one. Also that Dave would be a GOOD pro because he could punch and COULDNT take one as well. How many people on here can tell us about Daniels wins,or losses,in the amateurs?? And I don't believe all the sparring stories anyway, otherwise Daniel and Lawrence Okolie would be would be world champions anyway and Dave Price would have beat Wlladimir before tyson Fury and there'd now be nobody to touch him.
I definitely don't agree with @Berliner,except his opponents up to Tom Little. He did a similar job on him to Hyrgovic. In todays division, neither can fail to be a success. He's moved on to the next stage, but is only young so Warren just needs to be careful, while at the same time using his imagination. Him and his team are supposed to know about boxing, its their living.

Tom Little said he got battered by Hrgovic and quit in sparring. I think that was just another ploy to wind Dubois up,which like the others didn't work.

Good start to the year so far, he’ll be out in what May? He might get four fights this year - Gorman in December would be nice.

And even if he did, we've heard enough sparring stories over the years to take them with a pinch of salt. Moreover, Hrgovic is 27 in 3 months time and has boxed at World Championships and won a bronze at the Olympics. He's won a European amateur gold and fought for 4 years in the WSB. He is infinitely more experienced than Dubois and has fought Parker, Joyce, Yoka, Cammarelle, Kuzmin, Dychko, Nistor (last man to beat AJ) etc.

Dubois is more than 5 years younger than Hrgovic with very little top amateur experience.
