I initially said Dubois stops Gorman but the closer it gets the more I start to think Gorman has a chance.

I think his power might be underrated, I mean he did stop Sean Turner who isn't a bad fighter and Hrgovic couldn't do the same.

Everyone Dubois has boxed has stood right in front of him but we will see I suppose.

Yeah I can't make up my mind. I watch the Turner fight and think "Gorman is a better boxer, with far more fluid combinations" and I just envisage him outboxing Dubois and landing combinations at will. But then I look at Gorman looking lacklustre and a bit clueless against Johnson and pretty deflated and predictable against Cojanu, and I imagine Dubois will just land enough big shots to make it into a proper fight, and Dubois' power will be too much.

I am leaning towards Gorman again, but I am really 50/50 on it, which is why it's a great fight.

its going to tell us a lot about both fighters. most likely that neither one has a high ceiling unfortunately.

Maybe so, but I wouldn't be that negative. When I first saw Whyte, I thought he was pretty sloppy, with average power. He was teeing off on Hastings Rasani and not putting a dent in him, didn't look close to stopping him, and this was a guy I'd seen Bellew spark in 1 round and who had been KO'd by Dean Francis at light heavy. Whyte was 24, and then got a 2 year ban.

If you'd told me that he'd come back at 26 and go on a run that included beating recent world champions and be where he is now, I'd have been very very surprised.

Whyte has improved a lot, and yet he's still quite sloppy at times, and yet he's proven his power is legit, he makes the most of his physical attributes, and he's game and tough.

Gorman turned 23 this week, and Dubois is not 22 until September. They've got fucking ages to improve. When Joshua was Dubois' age he was getting stopped by Dominic Winrow in the England National Championships. When Tyson Fury was Dubois' age he had just got a close, and many think gift decision over John McDermott.

Both these lads are young, and have shown some promising attributes. If they both have decent chins, which they seem to have so far, then I am pretty hopeful that they can both improve a great deal yet.

Why not? Heavyweight isnt exactly the strongest division, if guys like Kownacki, Charles Martin can get into the top 10 who cant these two?

My first U.K. fight card since Warrington-Hyland (I know). Binned off the wife and spent twice as much on a solo ticket (she’s not arsed).

Going for Gorman stoppage here, think he’s a far more rounded fighter, better in all areas bar power. Also, this confidence from the sparring is swaying me, I’d be genuinely surprised if Dubois outboxed him. Fancy this to play out as a Fury-AJ fight would.

I watched a few Gorman fights on Youtube last night and have to say, anyone who thinks he is beating Dubois needs their head testing.
Which fights did you watch? Dubois has just been trying to bulldoze people, that’s all well and good when you’re fighting tin cans.

Castle Duckula.
I had a dream or passed into the future. In this dream I glimpsed a image that Dubois had won this by second round TKO.
