Looks like this is the route Hearn wants to take Dillian down.
I think Wilder is too big and hits too hard for Whyte. Wilder stops him early imo...

I admire Whyte's spirit and his run of fights as he waits and hopes for a title shot but Wilder will put an end those hopes I'm sure of it. Ever since Fury beat him I've noticed a lot of people writing him off, sure he might not be able to beat Fury but he's knocking out everyone else in the division including Joshua

Wilder is done mentally...and seems
to have no desire to improve either. And work on his flaws.

Dillian Whyte after his caning by AJ atleast acknowledged he was a limited fighter. And worked hard to get better. And is mentally tougher.

Will be surprised if this fight happens. But if it does I give Whyte the edge.

Personally, I think Wilders confidence in in the crapper after that bad beat-down by Fury in his last fight. Then he walked away with a draw in their first fight when it should have also been a loss.

The formula for beating Wilder has been printed. Walk him down and keep him on his back foot and he's done. His boxing ability, or lack thereof, will be his Kryptonite in future bouts.

I'd love to see Whyte against Wilder, and I'd put my money on Whyte to beat him.

i picked wilder, whyte has some of the tools to trouble him and it will likely be wild and ugly for spurts, but when you leave yourself as open as whyte does i can only see one ending.

people pretend wilder can only fight one way, they missed one of the most important fights of his career where he spent 95% boxing nicely off the back foot behind a jab.

whyte is as capable of replicating either fury performance as i am of flying by flapping my arms. might land something tho.

Ah man I don't know why I'm laughing reading that, I know he's serious I suppose it's just the sense of desperation that's tickling me here but sure I understand where Whyte is coming from but no. They didn't remove Lopez as champion so I can't see why they should rush to do that here, Fury says he'll defend his title in October now, I don't think that will happen but for now we have no choice but to accept him at his word, he's entitled to have time to recover from Covid but if as I expect we hear another problem has arisen before the rescheduled date then I will fully support Wilder vs Whyte being ordered though there's no need to elevate Whyte beforehand, they can just remove the interim status from Whyte and he can fight Wilder for the vacant title with Fury being champ in recess or even Franchise

Fury is gone, he's "mentally unwell" again, the pressure of defending a title got to him and Jared Anderson whooped his ass BAD in sparring. See you in 2 years fury.

As far as Whyte vs Wilder, it's 50/50 both are pretty trash, sloppy and glassy but both can crack so it's whoever lands a sloppy ass shot first.

'Zat true? I hadn't heard about it.

Well, Jared Anderson is one of the most exciting and dangerous HW prospects in the game today, so that's not really surprising. But that must really screw with Fury's confidence, esp when about to face Wilder again.
