Dieting can be pretty shit at times so I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread in which we can share some good meals and such which may make it a little less boring in the long run.

Whether its for slimming, building, recovery etc just share on here.

Can also discuss nutritional foods etc on here

When I'm trying to lose a few pounds i'll sack off my normal lunch of some sandwiches and crisps for a bowl of chicken noodle soup from asda. It's cheap and if you put some Tabasco sauce and black pepper in it's really nice. With a slice of bread to dip it's about 250 calories.
I'm bulking at the minute though and just eat everything :yep

I can eat healthy food at Breakfast and dinner. Its the evening that fucks up my diet. Im too lazy to cook anything after six and I end up eating crap like Pizza or chips. Could do with a few tips on an easy, healthy evening meal.

Nuts. Good source of protein, healthy fats and oils and all sorts of vitamins and minerals. High in calories but good for you. Rice cakes as well, bland but they will fill you up.
Still can't go wrong with a good old fashioned banana either.

I went to a Kerry kayes seminar a few years ago and he said your better off eating apples than bananas as you get the same amount of goodness but less fat

Add some garlic, ginger, chillies and onion to good oil in a Wok and it's a solid base to flavour almost anything and it's healthy. :good

Tin of tuna, in a bowl with Pineapple, make sure juice is out of both, suprisingly nice, sometimes add cottage cheese cause I'm crazy

I ate the above for lunch today, its important to get as much juice out of the pineapple and then put that in bowl first with tuna ontop :good

Rice cakes are shite unless you're trying to lose weight. Not enough calories, IMO.

Chilli, lots of chilli. Make an army sized portion and freeze it. Cheap and easy, full or protein. Use turkey/minced steak.

Carb, protein, fats — they’re all essential to your body; the key is moderation.Don’t starve when your body needs energy, and don’t over-eat when you have enough. Timing your meals allow you to stay full on less food.
