I think he will, that’s got to be Pulev’s end game, a mandatory shot at Joshua & a multi-million pound pay day & then probably retire
He certainly would fit the chinny robot murderers row criteria:

Shot
Old
Retired / never fought again
Midget

Collect your money but next time you might only get a line. Theres a few comping up and he hasn't finished yet. May eventually have to fight one or more of Fury.Wilder,Usyk,Yoka and more if somebody comes out the woodwork.

I’m firmly in the Eddie Hearn and rob McCracken camp that the first time big josh steps up that glass jaw is getting shattered (wilder) or he’s getting SCHOOLED (fury) or both (Ortiz)

Ive not voted because I think Whyte has MAINTAINED his reputation. I expected him to stop Derek and he did. But I applaud him for taking the fight. Could have taken somebody easier. But I don't think this will continue. Hell get the AJ slot in April but even if he doesn't I don't expect him to fight a Miller or a Usyk any time soon. He's nothing to prove and I keep saying it but has earned an AJ or Wilder fight.

I really like whyte but I dont think the win enhanced his stock. I had him below wilder fury and Joshua before the fight. That's not changed after the fight.
I see your point, I ranked him below those 3 before and after his fight. However, I give him a better chance against the next top 3, in povetkin, pulev and ortiz after that fight. So he did improve his stock imo.

I think most people still see Whyte taking a loss to the top dogs in the division, so I'd say his stock hasn't risen all that much tbh

Doesn't really matter where he's ranked or where you place him. His stock has risen considerably this year as he's gone from headlining Saturday shows to headlining ppv's as the A side.

Its what your definition of 'stock' is. He was headlining a PPV fight before he even stepped in the ring. That fact was decided beforehand. The question was 'has his stock rose in the division after koing Chisora?'. I'm comparing him against the division before and after the fight, as the question asked, and nothing has changed in my opinion.
