No doubt about that. As soon as they saw Povetkin on the decline vs Hunter they knew he was a perfect matchup now. Only hope with the pandemic, all mandatories are pushed back a few months. It's just not going to happen though is it. Whyte is clearly going to win this, I've been waiting for him to get smashed through this whole WBC Mandatory thing for years and he always always gets through somehow. They are clever (to the casuals) with his matchmaking, they make you think like it's a somewhat risky prospect and he may lose but never does.
If by some freak accident he gets sparked though in Hearn's back garden, loses that WBC spot it would be sweet sweet justice.
He's put this on PPV though and it shouldn't be?!I don’t think he can stop Povetkin and he certainly can’t outbox him. Povetkin will get jobbed on the scorecards. Whyte vs Hunter would of been the better fight to make but Hearn wouldn’t of been able to put it on PPV.
Hearn’s greatest achievement is making mongs out there believe Whyte is a PPV fighter that’s been hard done by.The biggest twat in British boxing & there’s a lot of competition.
A doper who constantly turns down opportunities whilst claiming he’s hard done to who has a fake brother & now sacks his coach via a lawyer. I always remember one of his entourage going for a weapon in the melee between rounds in the Joshua fight as well.
No idea why he seems to have a decent following. The sooner he gets knocked out & we don’t have to hear him talking rubbish the better
