Yang getting a trickling of more mainstream attention. Hoping that can translate into... Something. Just a legitimate fair shot for the internet fan favorites is all I ask.

did you miss this in the debates.

I did.

There's a massive difference between offering them general free healthcare and treating them for free when they need it, ffs.

It's not like they can schedule an appointment to go see a primary healthcare doctor for free, get referred to a specialist and then go to CVS and pick up a prescription all free of charge. That's not the kind of free care the candidates put their hands up for but it's certainly the kind the opposition are disingenuously suggesting.

As I said earlier in the thread, if illegal immigrants need emergency care then they'll get it. That's what those hands were raised for and I don't think that's unreasonable in the slightest. What's the alternative, after all? leave them to die?

To read this thread you'd think it was simply a giveaway of free general healthcare. That's certainly what was implied in the post i was responding to. It isn't.

That’s what we have now. Illegals go to the ER with no health coverage, get treated, don’t pay for the treatment and the taxpayers foot the bill to the tune of tens of billions a year. The ER can’t just deny treatment to someone who isn’t willing or able to pay, but now democrats (including the governor of CA) are proposing that we give illegals free health coverage.

Yes, they are, you fucking spastic.

One state, young adults.

Hardly the sweeping "free healthcare for all illegal immigrants" assertion made in this thread.

Thanks for proving my point, you stupid dumb bastard

Fucking Mongdela. The question was “would your government plan provide COVERAGE for undocumented immigrants”. They don’t have coverage now but they are given treatment at the ER, as I already explained. They aren’t being turned away regardless of their citizenship or their ability/willingness to pay the bill, and the taxpayers are left to pick up the tab. That’s how things stand right now. What they’re now talking about is health coverage for illegal immigrants, which is obviously not the same thing as emergency treatment, you fucking small penis.

Again, they’re not talking about whether or not illegals should be turned away at emergency rooms or “left to die”. They’re talking about them being covered under Obamacare.

Billionaire Tom Steyer throws his hat into the ring. Running as a Democrat, I wonder if he'll speak to wealth redistribution? Maybe you could start with your own, Tom, instead of the working and middle classes? Oh, and impeachment. Please mention impeachment.

Steyer, a former hedge fund manager has funded political projects and Democratic campaigns for years. He has also become one of the most outspoken advocates for impeaching Trump. Launching Need to Impeach in 2017 to rally support for bringing impeachment proceedings against the president.

You are brainless, shitbrick but I'll do what I can to explain it to your 5 year old brain.

Rewarding people for doing something completely destructive to a society is WRONG. You don't give welfare to grown men who become alcoholics and disregard their duty. You don't reward military who abandon their posts. You don't reward anybody in society who holds an important duty by disregarding that duty. This includes citizens and people who aren't citizens breaking the damn law.

If you reward the bad behavior you get more of it. Understood? Great!

Now insofar as it being cheaper to give people general healthcare access versus only ER, this is simply debunked. It's not true. In fact the people who generally neglect their illnesses until it becomes a life or death issue are unmoved by access to earlier care. Why? Because it's not in their mindset to become proactive once they have insurance. Not enough of them anyway.

It's generally accepted now unless you're a braindead lefty that expanded health coverage doesn't impact ER visits enough. Not to offset the cost of general care.

The answer to your question? How to deal with illegals that show up to an ER in a life or death situation? You never let that scenario happen. No illegal alien should be showing up to a health center in the first place and if they do find the trail that led them to this place. Build the god damned wall and lock it down and if someone illegal does get through start handing down the wrath of God to the individuals responsible.

That is how you avoid illegals dropping dead in American hospitals, dear shitbrick.

Why not just shoot them on sight? You already have the kids locked up in cages so they can't run away, why not just tell them they're getting showers and then pump some poison gas into their cage? Problem solved, right? MAGA!

He's not going to win dude. Not sure why you're getting behind this guy.
For the hundredth time:

I DO NOT EXPECT MAYOR PETE TO WIN THE NOMINATION.

I DO NOT EXPECT MAYOR PETE TO WIN THE NOMINATION.

Okay? Thanks. :thumbsup

I do think he's a serious candidate, and I would like to see him make a good run.

Mexi-Box trashed me for saying this guy is worth a look and could make some noise. According to Mexi, Biden already has the nomination locked up, Bernie is his only threat and Pete is a non-entity, LOL.

Well Bernie's campaign is going nowhere, like I said. He should have sat out, like I said. And Biden is losing steam week by week. Working a light public schedule, being kept away from the public and making gaffs anyway, because he's fucking ancient and was never a good campaigner to begin with.

And Mayor Pete raised more money than either of them these last three months. The little known gay mayor from Indiana raised more cash than the frontrunner who was Obama's VP for almost a decade, and he out raised the Bernie bros.

Time to take him seriously, eh?

Bernie had a shitload more individual donors than Buttigieg, even though Buttigieg raised more. I'd say that speaks more to Bernie's popularity and support than Buttigieg's. I'm curious to know who donated to his campaign and by how much.
