Eddie Hearn to work with former WBA 'Regular' World Champion, Lucas Browne.

  • Latest update: Apologies for errors yesterday, due to php resource allocation needs configuring to suit the server, and can only do that when we know what's not working.

There should be no more errors now, but there might be a bit more configuring required. If you get any error 500's or other errors browsing, please send me a pm with your ip address, time of error (and your timezone if not uk), and the page you're trying to access.

Should be leading to some big performance increase and new features. Thanks to everyone for patience and support.

Browne-Allen is a fight that makes sense.

Not sure why Browne would wait until March for a warmup fight when he was scheduled to meet Allen in mid April though?

Little probably won't pose Browne too many problems, but it would only take a head clash and a resultant busted eye to put the Allen fight in jeopardy.

Little, Allen, Price.

That's what Lucas Browne is hoping for in 2019. According to a video he recently posted. But he does makes it plain none are actually signed yet.

Browne was keen to fight Price earlier, but he says Price wants to wait until later in the year.

Building a show for April 13th at Wembley seems to be the rumour.

Maybe headlined by Usyk?

DB I think you are an Australian. As such you know Lucas doesn't NEED a head clash to get a cut. I hadn't got as far as your post before thinking this. I was about to say if he boxes Tom in March he will NOT be fighting in April. Even at his best, where Id say he would stop Tom, he would probably get cut. Ive seen a lot of his fights and he's been cut in nearly all of them. My guess is if Dave is to be the opponent BOTH of them will have their first fights of the year in April. And its possibly 50 50. Good fight. I like Lucas but would want Dave to beat him.
However to do this, even against a past best Browne,he would need to train like hell.

Little was giving Price a bit of a fight before getting caught and then complained about the stoppage. When asked about a return Little said he would like one, obviously. Dave Price said no he wanted to move on. The first game he mentioned was Lucas. Said he was having a go at him on twitter, sounded uncharacteristically a buit desperate. So he must have changed his mind a bit. Seemed at the time he wanted Lucas next.

Delighted he has finally got away from Hatton. Hatton never really gave a fuck about Browne. He got to the WBA 'Regular' title despite Hatton not because of him.

Don't you think a lot of this is because of the distance between UK and Australia though John??

Grant do you think AJ/Whyte is as they say dead in the water??
I hope not mate, cus it's a better fight than AJ-Miller. Plus if Whyte doesn't get his shot now, he get's frozen out for a while, undeservedly, I feel.

There's so much bluff and double bluff going on that I try not to read anything from Hearn. The rumours over the weekend certainly pointed towards Miller in June though.

From what we are hearing. Or more correctly, not hearing. Expect anything other than Joshua-Wilder or Joshua-Fury anytime soon.

Don't agree its a BETTER fight Grant. Id say as good but thats just me. If Dave Allen is fighting Browne at best that might be chief support, but no way top of the bill.
But you make a good point about Usyk. I didn't think AJ would be fighting Miller in the US but if thats the case, and they're fighting in June, maybe Usyks first fight as a heavy might be top of the bill. However, despite his ability is he well known enough to be a top of the bill PPV fighter?? Id have thought he would need a British fighter who is likely to give him a fight and is well known. The only one I can think of is Whyte and he is probably heartily fed up of Hearn by now, and might not fight for Matchroom again.

Which of Miller’s wins do you think make him as credible, and proven, as Whyte?

Ill be happy if we get Fury/Wilder again. Like it to been here but whatever. But you're right nobody is fighting AJ this year, meaning Fury/Wilder.

Actually none. Whyte is a deserving challenger. None of Millers wins is as good as Whyte wins over Chisora and for me particularly Parker. He has been very consistent. Its just a feeling Ive got. Miller is unbeaten and he beat a couple of big European fighters who were pretty decent. Apart from Whyte, and maybe Brezeale again I don't see anybody who deserves a shot yet. Usyk will but he's not fought at the weight.
What Im bring to get at is I was hoping for Whyte in April and Miller at the end of the year. AJ against either of the others in the Big Three is pie in the sky at the moment until they sort out who is best between them. And because of Hearn insisting AJ deserves more maybe not even then.

Don't worry DB Browne won't be fighting here in march then April unless its somebody not half as good as Little. Theres plenty of TTEEs around but when we crash out of the EEU with no deal maybe not.
