Why do you call aj chinny? He took a flush right hand from wlad ffs.
He took a right hand from shot old saggy backed retired grey haired never fought again VLAD who hadn’t won in three years and hadn’t knocked anyone out with that saggy back in five odd years.
By all accounts that withered old saggy grandpa back damn near put big josh out cold too.

I don’t think anyone objective would argue big Josh has anything other than a glass jaw. They exist in boxing.

Actually none. Whyte is a deserving challenger. None of Millers wins is as good as Whyte wins over Chisora and for me particularly Parker. He has been very consistent. Its just a feeling Ive got. Miller is unbeaten and he beat a couple of big European fighters who were pretty decent. Apart from Whyte, and maybe Brezeale again I don't see anybody who deserves a shot yet. Usyk will but he's not fought at the weight.
What Im bring to get at is I was hoping for Whyte in April and Miller at the end of the year. AJ against either of the others in the Big Three is pie in the sky at the moment until they sort out who is best between them. And because of Hearn insisting AJ deserves more maybe not even then.
So we are agreed that Whyte is the better fight?

Ain’t Browne about 40, obese & coming off a dreadful performance & knockout defeat?

At this stage Tom Little’s probably a 50-50 fight never mind a tune up

Ill be happy if we get Fury/Wilder again. Like it to been here but whatever. But you're right nobody is fighting AJ this year, meaning Fury/Wilder.
For various reasons l do want Fury-Wilder Il next. But Hearn and Joshua should be trying to fight either of them, not playing safe with the leftovers.

Browne turned up in poor shape against Whyte and put in a shocker. It is his only loss though and if he turns up in shape he beats Little confortably IMO.

But Browne would need more than a month from Little to his next fight.

“People may say this guy lost to Dillian whyteleafe koogs, but whyteleafe didn’t WANT the big josh fight, Shirley winkle isn’t reading my emails so what else can I do? Lucas big daddy Browne is in the shape of his life, the hardest hitting heavy out there bar none, did you hear his trainer out there? This guy is here for WAR and I think the fans are in for a treat at only nineteen ninety nine or whatever they are told to pay”

About equal for me as AJ already beat Dillan and Miller as I said is an unknown quantity due to being unbeaten. Had Parker not nearly knocked Dillian out I might have answered your question with a "yes"

Of corse. Its ludicrous to suggest otherwise.

Don't disagree at all. But they will wait until a clear winner out of Tyson and Deontay emerges. In the meantime AJ will have to fight somebody. Theres Whyte,Miller,Pulev and if he gets a move on Usyk, who might just beat him IMO.
I think we are looking at the earliest at the end of 2020 for a unified champion.

I think the chances are that Lucas turns up in similar shape to the Whyte fight. In my experience once a guy slips, he very rarely gets back to his old condition. Obviously Im talking about boxers here not the general public

If Browne had been in the shape he was in for the Chagaev fight Id have favoured him over any British heavyweight currently active with the exception of Whyte or AJ. Peak Del would have been 50 50. But those days are long gone.

:lol::lol: what a load of bollox. youre that twatrent idiot arent you? hes been hit loads by big punchers, way too often for me to not be suspicious about why the wilder fight hasnt been made, but there is fuck all wrong with his chin. casual fans that use rocky as a point of reference might struggle to understand that granted.

its pretty obvious that joshua is actually quite limited as a fighter, but then again hes only had 30 am fights and 20 pro fights, its to be expected. but hes got massive flaws in his game. that said he seems to be improving and 100% living the life and maximising his potential from what i can see. hes got a good chin, but as he moves up to another level of heavies he needs to get hit less.

from the outside it seems hes doing everything he should be doing.

Are we really at the stage where people are requiring a tune up before fighting Dave Allen in a top-3 fight on PPV at Wembley Stadium?

What a mess. Three months of hearing how this is going to be a brutal slugfest and not two fat blokes blowing out of their aree for 12 rounds.

First paragraph I actually agree with. He has quite a good chin, and excellent powers of recuperation when he DOES get hit. Plus the heart of a lion.
But as far as being limited as a fighter Im not sure I agree there. 30 fights as an amateur where he battled on even terms with the world championship gold medallist and an actual Olympic gold tells me he is a natural fighter and not a bad boxer. He had a far better amateur career than Dave Price and that has followed through to his pro career. Tyson Fury had less amateur fights and is the best pure boxer in the division.
As to getting hit less its the old analogy about going in the rain. But these are heavyweights and in some cases its the fighter who is quickest on the draw.
But I think your last statement is correct. His record is now very good. He just needs that defining victory over Tyson or Wilder. Whether he can get it is another thing entirely. I think were gonna have to wait until 2020 then one of those fights has to happen.

yeah fair enough, cant argue with any of that. i like him, hes been great to follow as a fan. much better than fury or wilder in terms of fights made/resume at similar points in their careers and its not even close. whats not to like?

Nothing at all. He's been great for British heavyweight boxing for a long time now. I never thought Fury was ever coming back but now he has and amazingly looks as good, maybe even better, than ever. Wilder has that get out of jail punch. They are the big three, and I believe in a years time if he has a few fights at the weight Usyk will join them. The division is looking great.

I read earlier that the Commonwealth will be on the line when Joyce meets Stiverne so I wonder what spurious 'Regional' title they will attach to this ....
