Eddie Hearn to work with former WBA 'Regular' World Champion, Lucas Browne.

  • Latest update: Apologies for errors yesterday, due to php resource allocation needs configuring to suit the server, and can only do that when we know what's not working.

There should be no more errors now, but there might be a bit more configuring required. If you get any error 500's or other errors browsing, please send me a pm with your ip address, time of error (and your timezone if not uk), and the page you're trying to access.

Should be leading to some big performance increase and new features. Thanks to everyone for patience and support.

I read earlier that the Commonwealth will be on the line when Joyce meets Stiverne so I wonder what spurious 'Regional' title they will attach to this ....
Joyce is the current - or at least the most recent - Commonwealth title holder.

This AJ/Wembley thing is shagging Hearn at the moment ain't it
He put the April Wembley date in place as a lever at the time, but it appears have backfired rather famously.

The stroke of genius that was Fury-Wilder has changed things rather dramatically for Eddie and Anthony.

How did they ever hook up in the first place?

I always thought it was an odd pairing, they were on opposite sides of the globe, Hatton had no real track record as a manager/trainer and given all the publicity about Hattons out of ring woes, would you have signed with him?

All a bit strange ..

Bit strange that.
Towers was a Hatton fighetr at the time too, I got the impression that Browne and Hatton didn't really get on. Browne mentioned several times on his social media accounts that he wanted out of the Hatton link up. Even blocked Hatton on twitter at one stage (twitter account now closed).

Hatton set up a promotional company for that part of the world 'Hatton AP' didn't seem to last too long.

Lucas Browne says he will be fighting Kamil Sokolowski on March 2nd in Scotland followed by Dave Allen. The Allen fight is likely to be at the O2 on April 20th.

Yeah, I don't know what they're messing around with Sokolowski for -- they could've got an easy knock-over job instead.

Plus it's not even on the Sky show which is on the same night, so it's not even advertising the Allen-Browne fight. All seems like an unnecessary risk.
