~ Elon's Asperground - SpaceX completes 100th successful Falcon 9 mission in a row ~

  • CHB will be closing down as of 31st July 2021. It's been a brilliant experience to run the website for the past 9 years, however it's time for me to move onto different projects. Thanks to every single person involved, from staff, former staff, posters old and current. All support means more than anyone knows. Thanks for your understanding.

Elon be cool if not a little obvious on the spectrum but my gawd the ass kissing gone too far. Quit asking him to sign life-size Elon replicas FFS, isn't his ego large enough already?

Speaking of ass kissing and being large enough, Grimes better not watch Mr. Musk leave with Viv, that weirdo geek girl I think Elon has a stiffy for.

I'm totally not into coins and I think I've already said I don't plan investing in them, so considering Judas got 30 silvers for betraying Jesus, I got myself 30 Dogecoins.

Another historic one: SpaceX completes its 100th successful mission in a row, meaning that while they didn't recover all of their boosters, each of the past 100 launches successfully put its payload into the proper orbit. This mission also marks the completion of the first set of Starlink satellites, that grew from 0 to 1500 operational under 2 years. This marked the first 5th reuse of a fairing half and a 3rd reused was also used.

Also, check out the epic shockwave at T+00:01:00 as the rocket passes through the sound barrier, you can even hear it roar thx to the onboard audio! Very cool! Beautiful 85th touchdown of the booster to cap a perfect mission, well done boys and girls! You can hear their joy in the background.

If his ego expansion fuels amazing projects, then I say we do whatever it takes to further inflate his ego

Bezos just announced he and his brah will be the first commercial passengers of the Blue Origin sub-orbital flight. July 20 is the target date.

Breaking breaking! Jerome Guillen, one of the key members at the Tesla board and up to this point head of Tesla Heavy Trucking has left the company. This comes after Plaid+ cancellation and rumors of some struggles with the 4680 cell that needs more time, yet expected to land in Plaid+, Y Berlin & Texas, Cybertruck and perhaps semi. Coincidence or just corporate head rotation?

Cyber truck with camper shell.

Go Tesla.

There are some awesome accessories forCyb.

Billionaire bitch fight is on! Sir Richard Branson may surprise Jeff Bezos and if Virgin Galactic is ready, could take the maiden civilian flight to space before ol'Jeff does on infinite Blue Origin budget. I prefer Virgin's craft and experience as you feel weightlessness for much, much longer. Of course neither will do an orbit and a few minutes of "space" experience (questions asked whether they truly leave the atmosphere or not) is nothing compared to Inspiration4's planned 3-day multi-orbit journey on the Dragon capsule, but that is much more expensive a pop.

Haha, imagine THAT coming your way on the road. (It's actually a separate tower section and a dome for a cryo tank, going to two different places).

Live steam here:

Also, SpaceX has successfull completed the first Super Heavy booster test tank BN2.1 cryo test late last night. Things picking back up for orbital tests.

Tesla has released on Plaid Model S (you know the one the the crazy yoke steering wheel and the HW to run Cyberpunk 2077... in your freaking car haha).

Well, besides a rolling start 0-60 mph time at 1.99s which is an obvious record for any production car you can actually buy (beating $2M Bugattis), it broke the quarter mile record at 9.247s - with Jay Leno driving it!

Also a pretty badass entry to the stage by Elon at the delivery event, who later played some Cyberpunk

But hot damn check out the Model S Plaid Unplugged Performance already tuned & brought it Laguna Seca with Randy Pobst as driver, that's some epic Spaceballs plaid paint job on it (each factory Plaid model has a tiny little plaid logo as well). This beast should set some lap records.

Remember that time when the one, the only, the living legend - Starhopper was the tallest object at the launch site? This Starhopper:

Well, Hopper is still there mostly witnessing things, but it's dwarfed by everything else and actually photobombed by some giant Starship sized tanks on the left. Nonetheless, I drew the line in red for height comparison.
