Starbase launch site getting ridiculous with the likely final piece of the illegally built launch tower that has no FAA permission as of now.

Poor little hoppy is towered by all them big boys, large cranes, booster to be static fired today and of course the orbital launch tower that will still get a large antenna plus the grabbing arms.

And they're down... quite underwhelming really compared to the stylish Virgin Galactic flight and glide but hey, if someone's ready to fork out $28M for THAT, who's to judge?

I'm not the biggest Jeff Bezos fan in the world but even I have to admit, that took a set of stones to jump on there for the first crewed flight and it was pretty cool to watch.

It was rigourously tested and human flight approved for a gentle little hop tho, so he wasn't like taking on a crazy cold-war era rush to space risk, I mean this is for filthy rich fat fucks and Middle-East princes. But Wally Funk was a great touch and if Bezos had any integrity he would've stayed grounded and let Wally take all the shine, I would've shown mad respect for Jeff.
