So she was victim of the ol' "no fuck no ride" maneuver.
Appears so. If she was indeed 15yo, Trevor's in trouble. Also an interesting pull by Tom Nash, a financial analyst. It appears that Worthington Industries that was allegedly built by Trevor & his dad initially invested $2M in Nikola only to pull out $500M (!) after it hit stock heights in the reverse merger. Back in the day, Bluegentech, that later became Nikola, was a subsidiary of Worthington so you'd imagine the latter had plenty of inside info.

Now unlike every other industrial investor incl. Iveco and Bosch who under their lockup agreement could not pull their shares out before December 2020, Worthington made a deal that they could in just a few days after Nikola's IPO in June and the board for whatever reason accepted this. And as soon as they were allowed (at the height of Nikola when it was hypes as a Tesla killer and huge future projected ahead - they pulled 100% out in two $250M share sales.

It appears they had clear information about Nikola being built on lies and legal troubles soon hitting Trevor, matter of fact, set up the lockup agreement with cash-out intent before the IPO. Not only they anticipated the downfall but built on it, and if they withheld major incriminating information from other investors and shareholders, they are in legal trouble. But who could be behind Worthington, turning $2M into $500M? The Trevor family? Perhaps not as they benefited from Trevor's rise and fall. Who then? The SEC and Department of Justice will look into that, but it has scam and jailtime written all over it.

In the meantime, the odd GM-Nikola deal is held off until SEC investigation is concluded, but with GM nearing bankruptcy again and needing the formerly good Nikola brand to spin-off their EV & hydrogen business, can't be caught into a web lies and lawsuits, never mind practically getting a major share in Nikola, their designs and patents, and only have to manufacture the cars in return - and they needed good designs to put their cells into. In the meantime, Nikola shares are lower than on IPO date and could collapse. Or someone is pulling some strings and will save Nikola and put the entire blame on Milton... exciting shit.

Nikola & Trevor are now taking down YouTube influencer videos, lol. Tom Nash is targeted who not only reports actually released news pieces but does research on his own. Now can you imagine something published in The New York Times taken down cause someone filed a complaint? That's a dick policy by YouTube since its Nash' livelihood plus there's freedom of speech, and if there's false information spread according to Nikola (lol), by all means sue, but taking content down before any legal ruling and demonetization of the channel violates right of free speech and earning a living.

All the while several class action lawsuits are filed against Nikola and Milton, and law firms ask shareholders and whistleblowers protected by SEC to come out and help build a case against Nikola's deception, exaggeration, lies and securities fraud. GM has not closed its deal that had a September 30 headline and having 2nd thoughts. “Our transaction with Nikola has not closed. We are in discussions with current Nikola management and will provide further updates when appropriate or required. In light of recent allegations regarding the personal behavior of Nikola’s former Executive Chairman, Trevor Milton, we want to emphasize that GM strongly condemns sexual harassment and abuse of any kind.”

Back in Tesla News, Giga Shanghai was closed and updated over the past few days and will return with 3 shifts instead of 2, ramping up for Model Y production as well as Shanghai's new role to make all right seated driver Model 3s that will ship to all Asian countries and UK. Fremont will only do left hand. Shanghai is also transitioning to cheaper, longer lasting LFP batteries of CATL that cut costs, and they are immediately cutting prices rather than taking higher profits. Standard Range Plus version also increased range from 445 to 468 km, with LR+ rated at 668 km.

Tesla is looking for a record quarter with the Street projecting anywhere between 115k and 145k deliveries. Troy Teslike, 95% accurate over the quarters is estimating 143,051 and break of 500k in 2020 despite the global pandemic that quite ironically helped increase Tesla & EV market share. Giga Berlin is also looking good, tho local environmental debates are still ongoing and while unlikely, they could still torpedo the entire facility, or delay it for several months. However, most expect final permit by year's end, and in 6 months the site without such permit changed from a field to a factory 2/3rd built.

But even if Giga Berlin eclipses Giga Shanghai in build speed, Giga Texas may shit on all of them. Just 2 months after announcement and commence of field work they've broken ground and some rebar cages and concrete foundations are built. Matter of fact, rumor says they plan to partially open on May 1st which would mean just 7 months of construction from groundbreaking which is crazy speed for a factory of this size. It usually takes 2-3 years. Bets still favor H2 2021 opening, but hey, these factory timelines are usually broken by Tesla.

Tesla SMASHES delivery records with 139,300 EVs put in new owners hands

  • 15,200 Model S/X, 139,300 Model 3/Y
  • This in the middle of a pandemic
  • record revenues also expected, probably record profits too
  • S&P 500 more likely
  • 500,000 deliveries in 2020 still possible, will be tight and requires and epic Q4
  • huge demand in China after CATL LFP battery version introduces - with range increase!
  • Giga Shanghai phase 2 almost ready, now 3 shifts working
  • Giga Berlin phase 1 half ready, permits in December
  • Giga Austin broke ground, targeting May 1 partial opening
  • Fremont introduces 2 giga presses, simplifying Model Y (and 3) production

Goddamnit the Falcon 9 GPS-III launch was also scrubbed! Fuck's going on? 4 scrubs on the Delta IV Heavy, 3 scrubs for two different Falcon 9s, Cape Canaveral, get your game together! They might retry tomorrow.

In predictable Tesla news: stock dropped several %s after best ever quarter of EV deliveries. Tesla is doing great pushing prices down and the real million-car breakthrough will be the $25k sedan come 2023ish, once those 4680 batteries are in mass production. That will take major work with possible headaches, however several cars with prototype 4680 cells have been driving on the road since May, so there's plenty of real-world data already.

Of course, the Roadster will use the Roadrunner batteries, and it looks almighty fine in Stormtrooper White:

Plus a nice 360 panorama of Giga Berlin in progress

Lol @ the newly announced, reusable Roscosmos rocket that will replace the Soyuz-2 2026. Roscosmos used to be highly critical of SpaceX tech and reusability... then completely ripped off (lets see if they succeed actually) the Falcon 9.

They are a joke now....so much knowledge and experience squandered away in the last 30 years.

They had a reusable booster design back in the late 80's as part of the Buran program....it can never be realized under current corrupt regime.

Yeah, the fact that the slightly modified workhorse Soyuz still flies half a century later (and better than just about anything USSR/Russia came up with since) is a testament how good foundations were. Unfortunately, ambitions died with Koroljev, even the Energia was to be a glorified space bus. Koroljev was almost Von Braun's equal, but there was so much political backstabbing (and black cars to unmarked graves) that he couldn't fully see his vision thru. Tho if it was up to Von Braun who was eventually displaced, US might've sent a nuclear powered Saturn V to Mars in the 80s, a dangerous idea still not completely off the tables for its clear benefits.

SN8 is currently under cryo testing @Boca Chica. If successful, next step should be static fire with either 1 or 3 Raptor sea-level optimized engines. Then nose cone added then 15 km flight with belly flop maneuver and return to pad, hopefully all that in October. Chances of nailing the mission 100% is pretty low though, this is the first real flight.

Two women incl. Trevor's cousin accuse former Nikola CEO of sexual assault at age 15!

Trevor Milton's cousin Aubrey Ferrin Smith publicly accused Milton over Twitter and Facebook of groping her bare breasts after a family funeral outside Salt Lake City in 1999 when she was 15 and he was 17. Ferrin Smith filed a formal complaint Saturday with the police in Holladay, Utah, where the alleged assault took place. The second alleged assault, which hasn’t been previously reported, took place in 2004 when Milton was 22 and hired a then 15-year-old girl as an office assistant for a security company he ran in St. George, Utah, according to Craig Johnson, a former prosecutor who is representing both women. “The allegation by my client is that he digitally penetrated her vagina with his fingers, which under Utah law constitutes object rape, and that is the charge the police will be investigating, in addition to forcible sexual abuse, which includes any ancillary touching of the vagina during the assault,” Johnson said in an interview with CNBC.

The now 32-year-old woman, who is a lawyer, said she’s spent the last 16 years trying to forget what happened. “I kind of put that whole scenario of memory in a dark place, locked it up and tried to just forget about it,” she said. She alleged that at some point in the evening, Milton started to grope her, first touching her breasts before putting his hands down her pants. “I just froze,” she said. Because she didn’t have a driver’s license, she said, she had to wait until he was finished. “He was in a position of power and he would give me a ride home from that job and this happened at the end of one of the days that I worked there and I was somewhat at his mercy because I couldn’t even go home until he was going to give me a ride home,” she said. She said she didn’t tell anyone about the alleged assault at the time and quit shortly thereafter.

A few years later, Milton’s former friend Tyler Winona claims Milton bragged about the assault. Winona said the two were living together at the time and the pair bought a Lotus car together. On the way back to St. George with the car in around 2006, Winona said, Milton described the incident. “I still remember, where we were at on the road, almost back to St. George, he told me when (she) worked for him, he blackmailed her for ditching school and into watching a movie in the back and cuddling with him,” Winona said in an interview. Milton said he “took her virginity in the theater room,” Winona said. “He told me he fingered her,” Winona said. “He kept going on, saying I like young girls and I like virgins because they are naive.”

Story goes on following this link including Trevor framing another former friend of him - remember the story the other day where he entrapped a troubled former friend who then took his own life.

Trevor / Nikola stole their own truck design they use to sue Tesla

Trevor, two just deleted his Twitter account and sounds like a proper predatory creep, the kind that are being taken now nowadays, is also in deep trouble for his lawsuit against Tesla. Back in the day Tesla designed their own semi-truck, however, when Nikola found out Tesla plans he patented a similar design and per fucked up US patent laws, Nikola can sue Tesla for infringement. However, Tesla showed evidence that Nikola actually stole or bought Adriano Mudri's truck designed and filed it as original at the USPTO, which is illegal and probably makes the design patent invalid. There are also the likely investor lawsuits against Milton / Nikola since all this multi-billion evaluation is based on lies and vaporware, and many of us saw red flags several months before... before Milton turned out to be Harvey Weinstein trying to pull an Elon. Surely there's a Hollywood movie in this story...

What an absolute piece of work this dude is... the simple fact the named their company Nikola says a lot about them.

God knows I know how to entertain myself but participate in the thread, ya cunts!
Apologies mate, I've been lackadaisical on the rocket front lately, just a lot of other competing stuff that I can't sit and consume a bit of Youtube on it or read the articles that pop up in my Facebook feed.

I'll be watching this Tesla stock though, we all know where the company is headed in a few years and getting a good entry point should be a worthwhile long term hold.

I accept your sincere apology.

When are we expecting the 15km test flight?
SpaceX doesn't disclose schedule but with the cryo test done they will move onto wet dress rehearsal and static fire, probably with one Raptor, then 3. Then nosecone up, lots of checkups so... late October maybe?
