Tesla stock reached record high this week though closed under $500 but a rough few months are ahead per Covid. Forget Elon who aided hospitals and workers with ventilators, masks & equipment, plus CureVac with RNA microfactories, issue is not really Musk's silly stance on Covid but Trump's, who has the power to do something about it yet is completely self-absorbed in an election he widely lost and Covid numbers are now far worse than ever before. This shit hit us in Hungary far more seriously than round 1, and looking at these numbers the US will look very, very bad in 3-4 weeks and Biden can't really enforce any serious response just yet.
At least some states like California's once again issuing stay at home order with counties having the final say on lockdown strictness, and this time around Tesla was deemed essential business so Fremont and Kato Road can operate normally. But with Elon, Trump and millions easily getting Covid, a tight factory environment is not ideal to avoid it, so small outbreaks inside are probable. Vaccines can't come soon enough, but that's post-round 2, and round 2's gonna be rough...
Today's Starlink launch was postponed to Sunday, but the Sentinel-6 Michael Frielich ocean observation mission is still on in about 4 hours.
