Revenge of the Nerd: Elon's best day ever?

Tesla stock closed at $555 and $526B market cap and shorters now down $30B just this year, largest short burn ever, and some had to cover yesterday. Ouch. Elon 2nd richest man alive per net worth.

SpaceX broke own record with 7th successful launch of the B1049.7 Falcon 9 1st stage booster, successful Starlink orbital insertion and ACED record 7th landing on the drone ship.

And Starship SN8 had a successful tri-Raptor static fire, albeit short, readying ship for next week's 15 km flight.

Not a bad day at all at Mr. Musk's home office, not a bad day of work at all.

I stand by what I said, he's Tony Stark.

Or maybe Richmond Valentine.

I'm fine with either, really.
Not sure Elon takes the "compliment". Tony had Scarlet Johansson and other women around him and chose that old androgynous cunt-smelling perfume selling Gwyneth Paltrow and not even sure she got it. In the meantime Elon had a bunch of hot ladies and his off-springs tell the story.

Not entirely sure of the last choice tho...

Impressive 5th Full Self-Driving beta update to 2020.44.15.3. Brandon is one of the nerviest drivers and Sacramento has some bad pre-mapping, which FSD partially use to make decisions, in in recent weeks Brandon had to disengage every 2-3 minutes. Much fewer disengagement with yesterday's update, good early line choices and finally the good stuff at roundabouts. FSD beta has come a long way in just a few weeks, probably ready to roll out to more testers.

Here's a pretty thorough teardown of Dishy McFlatface, the Starlink phase array antenna you buy for $500 for your Starlink internet connection. It is literally called that in the user manual and it's a remarkable engineering feat as such level of radar complexity where the system can target the signal without moving the dish physically is used in fighter jets and probably costs SpaceX excess of $1500 a pop, so they lose money on it. For now anyway.

And here's the latest Vandenberg Falcon 9 launch and landing tracked superbly from the very same spot, stunning how easy they make it look. About a minute before landing F9 is freefalling at Mach 2 or twice the speed of sound and only at the last seconds this skyscraper slows down, open up her legs and lands exactly at the last moment fuel goes out. And it was her 7th landing.

Very impressive drive on Laurel Canyon & Mulholland Dr. Also, 2020.44.15.4 update is out since then.

Static fire today or tomorrow so no flight before Wednesday per Elon. But windy conditions all week so it may be further delayed. Here's hoping static fire goes smooth with no damage.

Jesus fuck, German ppl., have some dignity FFS! This random German ceremony that gave Elon some award was such a giant suck up if Elon got AIDS now does everyone else.

Also, lol at Sven Väth remixing Elon's shitty electronic song "Don't Doubt Your Vibe" Used to listen to his DJ sets, now I doubt my vibes. Fucking hell.

Gorram SN8 launch being delayed! Now it's December 7, Monday the earliest and flight profile is changed to 12,5 km from 15. No biggie, SpaceX is busy launching the brand new Cargo Dragon vessel to the ISS tomorrow. This capsule shares most of Crew Dragon design which simplifies manufacturing and allows to share quality data between cargo and human missions.

Also, check out the rave party at the Las Vegas Convention Center tunnel, ready for the grand opening.
